I thought I'd stop by and say hello to all my old friends.   It looks high tech and wonderful.   Happy New Years!!  I think 2024 will have many wonderful surprises.   I might even log into my account.  If you have a social chat in the game, I would love to talk to everyone.  It's been a long time.  I'll likely start back in Lumbridge til I can remember everything.   Hoping I have my password.

To be honest I don't care much about it and wouldn't even notice if they didn't tell. 
However the fact that certain people are genuily  upset because of some lines of dialogue in a 20+ year old medieval cookie clicker because it ""offends"" their IRL believes says a lot about those people.
But hey! Atleast the big boys now can tick that sweet nice political correct box now and brag about it and hopefully make money out of it.

A little too late.
They should've kept the 2 min. death timer. Now you can do literally everything PvM and don't lose any shit. Makes no sense if you kill vorkie in 40m+ gear and have to pay 100K whenever you die.
They should at least scale the cost of death according to the value of your gear(or bank) to make it a bit fair.
 
There's no risk anymore besides PvP in this game. Only if you're really dumb and somehow die again while retrieving your items from the safety of the IRS.

Welcome back slump!

Hello there, My name is Damian, Though most people will know me as Slump,
with my recent return to Runescape and the clan i thought it would be a good idea to make a new intro so i can introduce myself to the new members of the clan.
 
I am a former advisor of WG, on January 15th 2020 i Resigned from this position and stepped away from Runescape due to major burnout at the time, After over a year of not playing the game i'v finally found renewed interest and have set new goals for my account in the future, With these new goals i hope to be around for the next few years at least.
 
I'm sure there are still some of people around who will remember me from my time in WG previously and i look forward to talking to you soon.
 
as for the new members of the clan, I look forward to getting to know you all and hope we can get along.

Tell us about your RuneScape account and history.
Long time player for over a decade, had a bit of a break in recent years due to IRL stuff.
Coming back into the game as I've missed it and the community but a lot has changed. So lots to relearn.
 
 
Tell us about your clan history.
Clan history that matters is The Wilderness Guardians, old member from, I don't even know what year since the old forums are gone now. I firmly believe its the best community I've been in on a global game.

If I remember rightly I've held almost every staff role in my previous time, except for app manager/Leader for the clan.
 
Tell us about your yourself.
I'm in my late twenties Brit. Bit of a bookworm and nerd. Love my Pokemon,Marvel, LOTR, and Starwars. Lot of my recent time has been taken up by Ark Survival Evolved, and before that I was a sweaty cod mw2 player. I've started up the Yugioh TCG again which I may regret.
I work retail, so have an hatred for most Karen's, some are nice though!

I've had a rough patch in my early/mid twenties with Anxiety and Depression which I had from bullying from my teenage years. Stress and other such ll caught up with me and overwhelmed me. Anybody needs a chat there's always a ear there for you, don't worry about asking! Your not alone.
 
How did you hear about us?  Was either on forums originally, or somebody tapped me up in Edgeville.
What makes you want to join us? I've grown bored of these games recently due to the group I played with drifting away to other games. I've lurked our forums whenever I'm on my laptop to try and stay aware of the clan.
I've missed the banter that the group had, the pking and boss trips. Plus the game itself. If i'm playing Runescape I want to be in WG.
