I was thinking of organizing some sort of music competition.
I believe that there are quite some people here in WG who play an instrument and I think it would be fun to do something different and getting creative.
Depending on how many people actually play an instrument and willing to compete to each other. I can organize something.
The problem is how to compete? We probably have alot of different intruments and people are at different musical/instrumental levels.

If we have enough people that play the same intrument then they could compete with each other. Creating something of your own or just simpley doing covers. But I think that we don't have enough people to do something like that. So I think we just get a mix of all sort of intruments.
If thats going to happen we could split it in two competitions.
1. Playing a cover
2. Creating your own stuff

We could let the members who didn't participate vote for the winner?


So what do you guys think of it?
And if we get something started who want to participate and what instrument do you play?

About my RuneScape Account and History: My RuneScape journey started in 2004. A good old friend of me told me about RuneScape
and he brought me into the game. I can't believe that I'm still playing this game, 11 years later... Anyway, I started out as a real noob like most of us. Getting hacked a few times because I was too stupid to believe that people could trim my armour or that they could get me P2P for free. I didn't do tutorial island because that friend gave me an account. So I started out at chickens in Lumbrige and I had no idea what to do. So I just trained my attack there for awhile. After some time I decided to explore the world. I ended up in the wilderness and I didn't realized that people could kill me. So I died with all my stuff and that was my first experience with the wilderness.
After getting hacked a few times I ended up with my currently account, Frozen_10.
My name came from the game Warcraft III the Frozen Throne and the numbers are just randomly picked.

I heard in 2013 that old school RuneScape was coming back and I was very exited about it. So when it was released I started playing again and I did enjoyed it. However it just took too much time to get everything back up so I stopped playing. I did played on and off for a couple of months later that year and in 2014. But now I've completely returned to OSRS and I'm planning to max out again, combat of course.

What I still really like about RuneScape is the PvP aspect and the clan community. I love solo pking but I never was really good at it, mainly because I didn't had the right stats or armour. But I also love warring with clans and teams. That's probably the main thing what keeps me going with this game. Besides that I just like to train my combat skills and earn money to get better stats and armour.


My past clans/teams and any current teams: I won't go in full details with all the clans I've in been but if someone is curious about it just ask it. I've nothing to hide but it's a pretty long history.

Got to admit it looks like I'm some sort of clan hopper, leaving a lot and what not. But I think most of my reasons are understandable if I explain them. I'm just too lazy now to write everything down and my intro will be too long :P


About me: My name is Sjoerd, I'm 23 years old and I live in the Netherlands.
I'm currently doing a home study, which is 'buisness administrator' if I translate that correct. So I don't go to school, I just study at home and for me its far better than going to school. I just got a new job, well I have to get back to that company to fill in some paperwork and then I will start. I applied to help in a kitchen making sandwiches for companies and things like that. Its not something special or anything but its hard to find a job and I also have to combine it with my study.
My hobbies are; Playing bass guitar, listing to music, collecting CD's, going to festivals and concerts, gaming, creating/making music.
The music I listing most to is metal, BUT I also love some jazz and classic music. ;)


I heard about WG through: I don't know how I heard about WG. I've been a member since 2007.
I want to join because: I know that the osrs section is putted on hold, but I've talked with Gene about it. So for the staff, if you want to know more about it, just PM me please.

The reason I want to be back in WG is because WG is like a home for me. I've searched for some other clans to join but I always come back to WG. I know some people here, I know the community and WG is just a wonderful home. Besides that I want to help WG getting back into osrs warring/pking. Seeing that I've left WG many times now (even if it was for some understandable reasons) I feel like I have to do something back If I get accepted. Which is helping you guys getting back into osrs.

My girlfriend is doing an internship in Sweden and I'm going to visit her for a week. So what are some great places in Sweden to visit or what are some great things to do there?

1. What is your current Runescape username, and what are your past usernames if any?

2. Tell us about your RuneScape account and history (e.g. when you started, what your RSN means, favourite activities etc.):
In 2004 a friend told me about RuneScape and gave me an account so I could try it out. He already did tutorial island. So I had figure out how RS worked. I had no idea what to do so my friend told me to stay at the chickens at Lumbrige and just train my combat skills up. He gave me some armour and a weapon. But I wanted to explore the world and got into the wilderness and got killed. I had no idea that people could kill me and that I could die that quickly. And that's how my RuneScape adventure started!

The main thing what I like about RuneScape is PvP and the clan community. That's also why I keep playing this game. Unfortunately it isn't what it used to be. But I still love pking and warring. After seeing Gene's vid, I'm quite excited about future updates and changes ingame and in the clan community.
I'm not a big fan of skilling nor PvM. But from time to time its fun to do.
I'm more into wasting my money at pking or staking and then earn it back through slayer, pking and clue scrolls.

I'm a huge Warcraft fan. Note; Warcraft II and III not World of Warcraft. Before I played RuneScape I played Warcraft III The Frozen Throne alote. I basically took the name of the game. The numbers in my name are just random. They have no meaning. However when I think about it. Back in the day my favourite numbers were 3 and 7. Put them together and you'll get 10. My birthday is in October which is the tenth month of the year.
I had some other Frozen xx's (xx = random number) before but I was too stupid to believe that people could trim my armour or that they could make me for free P2P. So I lost my accounts a few times.

3. Tell us about yourself (Name (if you are comfortable), gender, age, country, hobbies, music, talents, likes and dislikes):
My name is Sjoerd, I'm 20 years old, I live in the Netherlands and I'm a male.
My hobbies are playing bass guitar, creating and making music, listen to music, going to concerts, gaming a bit and collecting CDs.

I'm currently playing bass guitar in two bands. With one band we play (hard)rock and with the other band we play symphonic metal. With both bands we are writing our own music.
For the bass players out there or if your interested. I own a Cort T35 and a beautiful Cort A5.
My favourite bass players are; Robert Trujillo, Steve Harris, Patrice Guers, Zander Zon,
Grzegorz Kosiński and TM Stevens. 

Music is a huge part of my life. There isn't a single day that I don't listen to music. Where ever I go, I always got my own music with me. I'm a huge rock and metal fan, mainly metal. But I also love some classic, blues and jazz music.
Some favourite bands of me are; Metallica, Iron Maiden, Korn, Nightwish, Korpiklaani, Eluveitie, Ozzy Osbourne, Rhapsody of Fire, Therion, Havok, Lazarus A.D., Equilibrium and many more!

4. How did you hear about us and what makes you want to join WG or DG? Also, which of these two clans are you applying for?
I'm applying for WG.
I can't remember how I heard of WG, I was a member from 2007+. 
RuneScape isn't that great without a clan and there just isn't any other clan that I do like except WG. I've been here many times and its just great in here. The members/staff/community, events, IRC/Forum/TS are always nice and fun.

5. If you have been in other clans before, what clans were they and what was your involvement with them?
My clan history starts with my own clan.
Back in 2006 I started my own clan without any experience and knowledge about the clan world, warring/pking/tactics etc. We had around 60 members with F2P and P2P events. The clan lasted for about a year. I closed it because we had at that time to many problems and I couldn't deal with it all. I was probably too young and inexperienced.

In March 2007 I joined WG, my first official clan. However after 2/3 weeks I already left.
I had learned alote about how a clan works and how you should war etc. Because of that and we had such a great in Reinforce we decided to re-open it.

So in April or May 2007 I re-opened Reinforce, but not for long. After like 2/3 months we already closed it again. I don't remember exactly why we closed it. But it was probably because of the rush and we just weren't organized.

Summer 2007. I joined Astra, the junior clan of Luna. I don't know why I joined them, but probably because Luna was one of the best Dutch F2P clans back then.
But Astra was at the point of closing because no one was active, so I left after 7/8 weeks.

After being a few months clan less I decided to re-open Reinforce again.
This time with more experience and knowledge. However I closed it again, because JaGeX changed the wilderness...

January 2008. I rejoined WG again, for 3/4 weeks. I left because I wanted to join another clan.
January 20 2008. I left WG for The World Terror Foundation (WTF). When Reinforce was still alive we and WTF were allies. A lot of ex-members from Reinforce joined WTF and they just recruited me to WTF. Which was a good thing imo.
It was a wonderful time there. I became after 3 months Council and 4 months later I became Warlord. But unfortunately the clan closed.

Just a week later when WTF closed I joined 2Mighty4You. I made a to quick decision because I already left after 1 week. 2M wasn't the right clan for me.

November 22 2008. Me and some ex-staff members from WTF were missing the clan.
So I decided to make Ascension with them. After 6 months leading Ascension I wanted to stop and leave. The Staff wasn't happy with that and had there doubts about the feature for Ascension without me.
We made a poll about my leaving and we asked the members what they were gonna do if I left. 50/60% Was planning to leave if I left. The staff didn't want to rebuild everything so we decided to close the clan after 6 months.

May 22 2009. Once again I rejoined WG, but this time for a longer time! 
I just had a great time here, the people, events, forum, IRC, Mumble/TS.
I left because I didn't enjoy RS anymore and I wanted to spending more time on school/bass guitar/friends.

September 22 2010. After a 6 month break from RuneScape I came back and rejoined WG. 
But 5/6 months later I left again..
I believe I said that I didn't like the WG anymore how it used to be, but that was also because I had some real life issues and wasn't quite myself. I also had plans to start up a clan/team again. Because I once said if Jagex brings back the wildy I would start the Reinforce again. So around 25 ex-members wanted to start me the clan again. But that really just didn't happened. We only had the plans on paper and never really worked it out.

I know I have left WG too many times. But I want one more change to rejoin and help WG out where ever it needs and just have a great time again.
