need help

since i recently smashed my old computer i got this ancient windows xp which is having issues i can not download java or the runescape launcher so i cant get on runescape it keeps freezing an preparing to install and keeps saying windows installer cannot be accessed idk what to do.....

Buy a new one or take it to a professional.
I wouldn't recommend trying to fix it yourself as that may make it worse.

First of all, what is the RAM/CPU/GPU info on this computer. It might not even be worth the time taking it to a professional. Second, Have you tried different Web browsers to see if that was the issue. If you can post any pictures other other relevant information, that might be helpful
