  1. Rules, Requirements and What To Expect Thank you for showing interest in our great clan. Outlined below is everything you need to know about WG. The summary is required reading. It's important to know what to expect before joining. Summary Level Requirements: None Suggested for PvM: 100+ Combat. Suggested for PvP: 110+ Combat with 85+ Ranged and Magic. Since 2003, the Wilderness Guardians have been an honour clan. This means we respect the integrity of the game, we respect others, recognising there is a human behind the screen and we show respect to other clans. All scammers are reported to RuneWatch. We expect a good level of community activity from those joining us. Members should be actively following unread content on these boards as well as using Discord and WG_CC, our Clan Chat. You may not join other PvP clans. If you join other PvP teams or non-PvP clans we will uphold our usual activity standards and carefully track your progress. Upon posting your application you will be asked to wait for 24 hours to allow you to integrate with our community and get to know our members a little better (and vice versa). It is then your responsibility to use the #osrs-app-review channel on Discord. Upon joining you will then have three weeks to graduate to our full member rank. You will receive all the required information when you join. If you've read up to this point feel free to proceed with your application to join our community. Full Rules, Honour Code and Members Rights As follows are the full rules, honour code and members rights of WG. This is strongly suggested reading and regardless of whether you've read it, all rules apply to you. Rules Honour Code A special subset of rules for our PvP events. You are also urged (but not required) to follow our code of honour on your own, outside of clan events. We believe that we must embody the behaviour of the PKing community as we wish to see it. Furthermore, as a clan, we show honour even to those who treat us dishonourably, and we are renowned for our integrity. Members Rights You have certain rights that nobody can take away from you. Despite the rules mentioned above, there are things that a leader cannot restrict. You will have these rights at all times. Member Only Documents Members of WG can refer to our Clan Charter, a document outlining our basic value. The charter is superseded by these rules in cases of conflict. Clan members can also refer to our advice relating to staking, lending and services. These documents are in the spoiler below. For further clarification on these rules, please consult a Leader or Advisor via these forums or Discord.

  2. Pretty hyped to be with WG for 2 whole years starting on Monday, and I would say that the clan changed just as much as I have. When I first joined I was a level 60, and now I'm 2.1k total level with Quest cape (and 1 task off diary cape why does slayer do me like that). I just wanted to take this time to say a huge thank you to the friends I've made along the way. I'll go in alphabetical order to not choose favorites, but I'll start with everyone currently on the Officer squad and staff team. I'll group you all together to start out with, because you are all the most solid staff team I've ever seen in WG. When I first joined there was a huge clique culture, and even though as members each member of staff was approachable, the staff team now is a cohesive unit where you are all unique, loveable individuals. I'm not staff anymore, but I'm sure there is nothing but love behind the scenes. I know that when I was staff I'd get into some petty garbage with random members (Sorry Swifter, I still love you.), but I literally haven't seen any drama since I've came back. Just a reminder, if I don't mention you by name, then I probably glanced over you on the memberlist. I love all of WG, there isn't a single member I don't get along with and we've been fantastic at vetting good members with our community. I know when I first joined, I commended Slump and Mojo for having such a positive community that naturally gates away toxic people and brings more chill people to join. If you're chill, and you find WG, you'll probably stay because it's chill. @Crazyooga You're someone that I feel like I never see enough, in the best way possible. I'm always excited to see your name at events, even when you first joined. We have what feels to be opposite schedules and it makes it just that much more exciting to see you at events, or even just chilling in the CC. @Dad TBd Mum You always push me to be better at PKing. When I'm with you, I know there's someone there that understands me and I can rely completely on. I feel like we have a blush of fun competition. Or maybe it's just me being nervous when we're PKing together, and I have to prove that I can be as good as you are. @Hatred Sabre still sane, exile? BBQ, I remember when I first joined and I annoyed the everliving fuck out of you. You might not remember it at this point, and at this point we might joke about noobs who can't listen to callers, but I can always remember when I was that noob that couldn't listen to callers. You taught me so much about the very basics of this game, and every time I right click my glory, I can hear your beautiful voice ask "Why tele to Edgeville? Why not glorious Draynor Village?". Even more than just teaching me about the game, you taught me how to interact properly outside of the game. If I was dipping into drama, you would pull me out, and keep my head straight. If I'm feeling down, I know you'll be there to bring me back up. @Jansen I feel absolutely blessed to have recruited you. I remember you being a f2p noob and I offered you a bond if you joined WG, but you didn't just join WG, you're an honoured guardian and I couldn't be more proud. You are the absolute highlight of how much people can grow in this clan and what this clan has to offer. @jensen272 I mentioned rivals before, and when I was more new and much more active I always stared at your hiscores page to see if I can keep up with you. Seeing you nowadays really highlights how much we've both have grown, and you're just an absolute blast to check up on. You're positive, you're motivated, and you share that with me when I see you. @FinalELITE I've mentioned people that I feel like I don't talk to enough, and I couldn't leave you out of the conversation. Everytime I see you, I get excited, because I know you're going to make whatever event I'm in that much more enjoyable. I love seeing you in game, in the discord, anywhere. @LGBTQHCIMBTW Dom, you're like, a better me. We hit Eventmaster at the same time and you showed me up with every event. You were more creative, you're a better PVMer than I am, and I'm proud to see someone who is better than me in each of my best facets. You even put the fire cape on my pure. @Lunars_Iron You're an absolute blast to be around, and I love your presence in the CC. You're a total staple of the community, even when you're inactive. You make everyone remember that WG is a permanent home. @Wg Luk1n You inspired me to push for staff. And when I got on the team, you were there showing me every rope (until you stepped down.) It's really strange not being in 12 of your events per week, it feels like it was only yesterday. @WG Maiar I've mentioned amazing PKers before, and you're yet another highlight. You joined shortly after me, and I felt like every time I went out to the wilderness you were there with me. @Mask You inspired me every single day we were both online together, and I'm so happy to have you back. I know being #freetotrick is the exact opposite of WG's values, but I was one of the people that turned around and supported you when left temporarily because I would have literally done anything to keep you as a member of the community. You really inspire me so much, that I still shout "LOOOOOT LOOTLOOTLOOTLOOT" every time I get a good drop, or if I'm world hopping, there's always a slight mimicry of your clean, clear worldhops @Pentomix You're a more recent addition to the clan but you definitely push every pillar of the WG community. You're another one of those people that I get excited to see online because I know you're going to make everything much more fun. @Queen Cersei You're an absolute delight to banter with and I loved every single time you confused me for Gore, at some point I wasn't sure if it was a running bit and you knew who I was. Either way, you're extremely sincere and open, and I love that so much about you. @Slumptality I feel like you've always had my back, even when I was in the wrong, you would look and see where I was coming from. You were a huge inspiration to me when I first joined the clan and you're still an inspiration to me now. Thanks for the Fighter Torso. @Yasticaki You are a wonderful mentor, even when I think I'm an expert at something you're out here teaching me something new, and you are always out here helping out your fellow clanmates and friends. I would also like to take the time to mention a few former clanmates. Remember guys, no matter what clan you're in now, you at least inspired one person during your time in WG. @AAIGHT I know you're not going to read this, but you always made it clear when you didn't agree with something. More importantly, you left on your own accord, when you weren't happy with how the clan was going, but you respected every individual within it. @Adult Cat Similar to AAIGHT, you left WG only because you didn't agree with staff. I'll reiterate here that I'm more than okay with that, in fact, I'm happy that you're happier somewhere else. When you were here you helped introduce me to the rest of the WG community, and every time I see you on Reddit I shed a small tear remembering that you're always welcome back here. @At The Races I mentioned plenty of people that taught me how to PK, and god damn if you didn't teach some complete n00b how to PK. Looking back, I am amazed by your patience and whenever people ask me how to learn to PK I use you as a reference. @4474 Did we ever really get along? No. But that's fine, because you did your best to keep our disagreements as healthy as possible for the rest of the clan. I'm pretty sure you don't scape at all anymore, and I really hope you the best with whatever you're doing nowadays. @father4skin God what can't I say about you, besides "You like that?". Your humor is wonderful, and you're sort of the face of "Ex-WG member" in that you're insanely skilled, motivated, and always active in your community. You might not be in WG anymore, but you still act just how you did when you were in WG because you're such a genuine person. You're another PKer who pushed me to be better, and never let me stop. @WG Fargorn I'm mentioning people that taught me how to PK, and Fargorn, I was absolutely heartbroken when you left the clan. I'm proud that you really made Nothing Left your own, and even though you had bigger plans with the clan than what became of it, I'm sure wherever you're at in the wild now, you're as active and motivated as when you were telling me how to not run up onto someone without actually clicking teleblock first. I'll always feel a bit like a noob around you, and that's a good thing. @Hathor666 You have top notch banter and like many people on this list, a motivated and skillful PKer that doesn't mind showing other people your moves. Another former member that left due to disagreements with staff, and although WG is a bit too PG for you, I'm sure you're clapping cheeks wherever you are now. @Mojo You have done so much for me. This is my opportunity to gush more about the staff team in my first 2 years of WG, and you're the epitome of what the staff team was. You left the clan in the careful hands of Ghost and Neigh, but before then, you nurtured me in every step of my OSRS career. Every time I had a problem? You were there. Every time I fucked up? You were there. You trusted me oh so much more than I ever deserved, and you put that much trust into every single member of this clan. You know when people are good, and your Fortnite and Fall Guys content is all I need to see your happy face. You're such a genuine human being and I loved every single second of talking to you. You're an absolute sweetheart. I'm so happy you found something that makes you happy, and I will be absolutely amazed if in a year from now you're not an insanely successful streamer. You made this community what it is and built us up as individuals and as a clan after every hardship. @WG Wessoxx You're another member that I just can't believe is gone sometimes. You are another person that just absolutely personifies what it means to be WG. You're helpful to others, fun to be around, and I wouldn't be where I'm at now if it weren't for you protecting me at chaos altar until RoT rolled in. Keep doing what you're doing brother. @Vio You're another one of those amazing PKers that taught me how to PK. But more than that, you're an amazing member of the entire OSRS community, not just WG. I was a bit sad when you stopped producing your Podcast with His Lordship. You're a minister of propaganda and the (un)offical leader of the master guardians for a reason. Your personality is as big as your heart, and your banter is insane. I can't even say I miss you, because you still interact with the clan inside the public discord. Looking back now, WG is much of the same it always has been. The Wilderness Guardians help others, not just in game, not just with game advice, but as people. We're always there for eachother when we're feeling down. The Wilderness Guardians also has a great sense of humour, and a contagious motivation. I don't play Oldschool Runescape because I like OSRS, I play because I'm a member of The Wilderness Guardians. You guys are what makes the game fun for me, and you've made the game fun for me for the last two years. You've all been there for me, and as members come and go, the clan still stays the same. We're a fantastic community, and I'm so lucky to have every single one of you. Other clans are constantly trying to drag me over, but you know what? I wouldn't ever join another clan, because I'm not in the Wilderness Guardians for the events, or for the fat loot, or anything but seeing clanmates that I can genuinely call friends. The memberlist is always changing, but the community is always the same. Wilderness Guardians is the only clan you can be a part of and have random people walk up to you and say "Oh, you're in WG? I was in there back when X was leader or Y was active." and that random person being absolutely wholesome and kind because WG has such a lasting effect on people. There's a reason we're OSRS's oldest clan, and WG will last at least as long as OSRS itself.

  3. Hi everyone, Looks like I'll be annoying you with plenty of posts in the forseeable future. This is actually my first time on these forums, so I'm keen to see if there are any familiar faces. It also appears that Mojo was kind enough to assign me leader rank, though I assure you I won't be leading in any capacity (this may change in a few months). For those of you I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting, I'm His Lordship, former leader of the Wilderness Guardians. A brief timeline: Started Runescape in August 2003 Founded WG in December 2003 Led WG until about 2013 Remained in regular contact with WG until about 2016 Some basic player info: I used to be well known as a video-maker. I'd love to start again. I *may* still hold the record of being the longest serving clan leader in Runescape Australia is my current home. I lived in the UK for four years (2012-2016) I've met at least 40 clan members around the world I was not as good a leader as Mojo is. If you were unlucky enough to be under my tyranny, I had regular temper tantrums and poorly thought out decisions. I will be starting up on OSRS. I dislike RS3 but I tried my best to get into it... I just couldn't Some real life info: I'm a musician. Specifically I'm a classically trained composer. I teach piano full time I have a boyfriend (I'm bi), and he lives in Bali. He'll be moving to Australia sometime next year. I travel a lot. Not including trips to Bali to see my partner I usually take three or four overseas trips a year. I'm a dedicated bodybuilder and I'm at the gym six days a week Random interests of mine including LARP, scuba diving, medieval cooking, fantasy novels and cross-country hiking. I'm so excited to get to know everyone again. I grew up with this clan and it'll be part of me for as long as I live. I'm looking forward to a treasure trove of new memories.

  4. Fifteen years ago on this day, His Lordship founded the Wilderness Guardians. I'm not going to write a lot, the video gives a great overview of those 15 years. The key to our success has been, in my opinion, two main things: sticking to our values whilst adapting to the current game style(s). Throughout the past 15 years, only 7 of which I've been part of, we've seen many eras. From RS Classic right through to the current day set up of both RS3 and Old School our clan has risen to the challenge of the game. Thank you to the thousands of Guardians past and present for making the Wilderness Guardians such a great clan to be a part of. We've consistently said we want the clan to outlive the game and I truly believe that it will. Here's to another 15 years!

  6. Sabre Ghost's Quick Pure Questing/Training Order Step by Step - Efficient Quest and Skilling Order! A few people in #osrs asked me to make a quick pure guide. Imagine we're on a PK trip and our lowest level is getting hit by pures. We all log out, and log in on 10-15 pures. BOOM!! FREE LOOT!!! If you guys want more details feel free to PM me or search on Youtube. I have a lot of experience questing/leveling accounts over the years and I've done these kind of quest sequences like 10-15 times. This guide is supposed to be straight to the point with only the bare bones info for quick step by step. Both F2P and P2P starting methods are focused on unlocking minimal cost splashing so you can constantly splash while you're AFK in between quests and training strength/ranged. Unlocking 40 ranged for d'hide vambs will allow you to get the negative mage bonus necessary (-65) to splash every spell while wearing vambs and full iron with a Smoke staff. Getting P2P straight away is more efficient and faster, but starting out in F2P is nice if you don't want to buy a bond until you really want to grind. It will allow you to splash your magic pretty high before you get members. Remember, this guide is the efficient quest and training order to create a sick PKing pure with minimal effort. So if you want Mith gloves, Crystal Bow, Anchor, etc. then do some of your own research in addition to this. Let's get started with the basics! Starting out in F2P: Starting out in P2P: 43 Prayer Train: Dragon Bones at Gilded Altar/Wildy Altar until level 43. Don't train past 43 until you know you've done all the prayer quests you want... you don't want to end up with a weird prayer level depending on if you want 45 or 52. View the OSRSWiki page: http://oldschoolrunescape.wikia.com/wiki/Quest_experience_rewards#Prayer for quest XP rewards by skill type to make sure. For example the Ancient Mace quest gives 3k prayer xp. I'll put that quest line near the bottom. 40 Ranged + Ava's Attractor Quest: Dwarf Cannon Train: Cannon Rock Crabs inside Relekka until 40-50 Ranged. OR Train: Shortbow/Oak Shortbow on Chickens until level 10 Ranged. Train: Oak Shortbow on Cows until level 20 Ranged. Train: Mithril Darts on Sandcrabs/Slayer Task until level 30 Ranged. Train: 18 Slayer Train: 19 Crafting Train: 35 Woodcutting Quest: The Restless Ghost (Reward: 1.1k Prayer) Quest: Ernest The Chicken Quest: Priest In Peril (Reward: 1.4k Prayer, DT Req) Quest: Animal Magnetism (Req: 18 Slayer, 19 Crafting, 35 Woodcutting, 30 Ranged) Train: Mithril Darts w/ Attractor on Sandcrabs until level 40 Ranged. Range XP Reward Quests (I wanted to mention these here so you don't waste time getting 40 - 50 range tediously, when these quests can save a lot of time. Just do these quests at the right time for training efficiency with Agility/Thieving) Quest: Horror from the Deep ( is best done at 40~ ranged to take advantage of XP reward. It has an agility req with an efficient order. Do it after The Grand Tree. See below. Quest: Temple of Ikov is best done at 40~ ranged to take advantage of XP reward. It's a req for Desert Treasure, but it has a thieving req with an efficient order. See below. Splashing Quest: Imp Catcher (875 Magic) Quest: Witches Potion (325 Magic) Train: Strike Spells until level 13 Magic. (You could skip Imp Catcher and Witch's Potion if you want to just splash Air/Water/Earth Strike until level 13) Splash: Whenever you're AFK, splash Fire Strike with a Smoke Staff. It's best to have a high mage level so you can kill all these quest bosses very easily. Might as well splash to 75 for fire wave early on, and use Smoke Staff and Occult necklace! Melee Quest Order (with Horror from the Deep thrown in for efficiency) Quest: Waterfall Quest (Reward: 13.7k Attack and Strength, DT Req) Quest: Witches House (Reward: 6.3k HP) Quest: Vampire Slayer (Reward: 4.8k Attack) Quest: Tree Gnome Village (Reward: 11.4k Attack) Quest: Fight Arena (Reward: 12.1k Attack, 2.1k Thieving) Train: 20 Agility Quest: The Grand Tree (Req: 20 Agility (w/ Summer Pie) - Reward: 7.9k Agility (should get you lv 20 - 29 Agility), 18.4k Attack, 2.1k Magic) Train: 29 - 30 Agility Quest: Horror From the Deep (Req: 30 Agility (w/ Summer Pie), Barcrawl - Reward: 4.6k Magic, Strength, Ranged) Quest: Death Plateau (Reward: 3k Attack + Climbing Boots, DT Req) Quest: Mountain Daughter (Reward: Bearhead, The Kendall NMZ Training Boss, 2k Pray, 1k Attack) Road to Desert Treasure Quest: Druidic Ritual Quest: Doric's Quest (Reward level 10 Mining) Quest: The Knight's Sword (Requires 10 Mining - Reward level 29 Smithing) Train: 10 Fletching Quest: Tourist Trap (Requires 10 Fletching, 20 Smithing - Reward: Using both 4.6k Lamps on Thieving gets you level 27) Train: Thieving level 27 - 30 *Optional quest The Feud you could also just grind Thieving* Quest: The Feud (Req: 30 Thieving - Reward: 15k Thieving, you should be around 37 Thieving now) Train: Thieving level 37 - 42 Quest: Temple of Ikov (Req: 42 Thieving, 40 Ranged - Reward: 10.5k Ranged, 8k Fletching) Train: 10 Herblore Quest: The Digsite (Req: 10 Herblore, 10 Agility, 25 Thieving - Reward: 15.3k Mining, 2k Herblore) Quest: Troll Stronghold (Req 15 Agility) Train: 50 Firemaking Train: 53 Thieving Quest: Desert Treasure (Req 50 Firemaking, 53 Thieving, 50 Magic, 10 Slayer - Reward: 20k Magic) DDS and D Scim Quest: Lost City (Req 31 Crafting, 36 Woodcutting - Reward: DDS and D Long) Don't finish Monkey Madness if you want to Chin your Ranged, since you can't go back to the island on a pure without ruining your defense level. Quest: Monkey Madness (Reward: D Scim) - DO NOT CLAIM XP REWARD Optional Quests Quest: Haunted Mine (Req 15 Agility, 35 Crafting - Reward: Salve Ammy, 22k Strength) Quest: Underground Pass (Req 25 Ranged, Biohazard, Plague City - Reward: Iban's Blast, great spell for lower levels) Quest: Ghosts Ahoy (Req: 20 Agility, 20 Cooking - Reward: Ectophial, 2.4k Prayer) Additional resources to use when adding up quest reqs/rewards: XP/Level Chart: http://oldschoolrunescape.wikia.com/wiki/Experience Quest Skill XP Rewards: http://oldschoolrunescape.wikia.com/wiki/Quest_experience_rewards I hope you guys enjoy the guide. It's meant to be done step by step for max efficiency in getting all reqs and minimal effort. From this point just AFK Strength/Ranged at Sand Crabs/NMZ and Splash Fire Strike/Fire Wave or Ice Burst! If you want low combat, try doing Pest Control and using the points on Ranged/Strength, Cannoning, or even Ranging Guild mini-game to keep your HP lower. Good luck!!! Ranged Train: Mithril Darts at Crabs until 70 or even higher Train: MSB(imbued) w/ Rune Arrows or Karils Crossbow at NMZ until 75 Train: Blowpipe/Chin until 99 Melee Train: Brine Sabre/Rune Scimitar until 50 Attack. Train: Granite Hammer until 55 Strength/60 Attack. Train: Dragon Sword/Scim or Obby Sword + Necklace until 99 Strength. Magic Train: Splash all the way to 99, or use Fire Wave/Burst to quickly get to 94/85 for Ice Barrage/Teleblock. Ancient Mace Quest Line (There are some other reqs that were all ready completed in the quests above. If you really want the Ancient Mace, you could consider fitting these quests in to get Crafting/Thieving/Firemaking xp while getting reqs for Desert Treasure/Lost City). Quest: Rune Mysteries Quest: Goblin Diplomacy Quest: The Lost Tribe Quest: Death to the Dorgeshuun (Reward: 2k Thieving + Ranged) Quest: The Giant Dwarf (Req: 12 Crafting, 16 Firemaking, 33 Magic, 14 Thieving - Reward: 2.5k Mining, Smithing, Crafting, 1.5k Magic, Thieving, Firemaking). Quest: Another Slice of H.A.M. (Req: 15 Attack, 25 Prayer - Reward: 3k Prayer, 3k Mining, Ancient Mace)

  9. Alright so time to time, I get asked on how I trained all my accounts up, and I've been making this guide to explain it easy to people. There are other methods out there mentioned, but let me just say, the true beauty of this method is it's simplicity and hardcore AFKness. So, I'm a lazy grinder. I like achieving the grindier goals with the most minimal amount of effort possible. This is why NMZ was a godsend for me and many others, and I believe it can be for a huge number of people in this clan. As long as you're not lvl 99 in combat stats, then chances are that you can benefit from this. Testimonials: "Honestly tried this for the first time after thinking "it can't be that good" but it fucking is" - WG Craewyr, Honoured Guardian, Master Guardian I want to keep this guide as simple as possible. The pictures, essentially, should explain mostly everything. Who is this for? - Anyone with a busy schedule and can't afford RS the attention for other training methods. - Where the overload and rock cake/locator orb semi-AFK Hard Mode method won't quite cut it and you want true AFK that won't burn you out even if you do it for a month straight. - You can go to the gym, go to grocery shopping, Netflix/PS4 and much more and utilise Chrome Desktop to click on pots on your PC at home once every 20 mins. Extremely Simple. Stat Requirements Melee Method: 60 Attack, 60 Strength, 60 Defence Range Method: 60 Range, 60 Defence Magic Method: 59 Magic(quest req), 60 Defence Quest Requirements: The Ascent of Arceuus The Depths of Despair Mountain Daughter Vampyre Slayer What Lies Below Magic Method Requirement: Family Crest for Chaos Gauntlets Instructions: 1. Pick one of the gear loadouts below. 2. Start Customisable Normal Rumble (22K per game) 3. Enable ONLY these 5 bosses, NO OTHERS: 4. Go to this exact square and have auto retaliate on: 5. Refresh combat pots/absorption once every 15-20 mins. (Note: You can refresh after 20 mins and you will not die, however auto retaliate simply disables after 20 minutes so you will not get XP after that.) 6. For the ULTIMATE AFK Experience and to unleash the true potential of this method, use Google Remote Desktop to refresh every 20 mins via your mobile phone: https://remotedesktop.google.com/?pli=1 Now, here are the example setups for each type of combat style you want to train: Melee Setups: - Feel free to upgrade anything you want. - Generally the best cost efficient setup here. Max melee rapier is better, but out of pocket for most people. - Expect around 80K xp/hr - This setup is for absolute brand new accounts or if you can't afford Obby. - Upgrade whatever you like above. - Expect around 45k-50K xp/hr at base 60s Recommended stat training routine starting from 60 att, 60 str, 60 def: - 60/75/60, then 75/75/75, then 75/99/75, then 99/99/75, then 99/99/99. Ranged Setups: - Base setup. Will require probably around 100K Rune Arrows for 70-99 Range. - The D boots and D med are particularly important here to provide defence so you break even on NMZ points used on absorption pots. - Upgraded Setup, can use arma if you want to as well. - Can swap tank helm to a range helm if 90+ defence. - Can Swap Dhide, nezzy and gloves for Full Void as seen in other guides, however I prefer this. - Around 60K xp/hr Mage Setups: - Gloves are Chaos Gauntlets, raises max hit of Fire Bolt to 15? - The key point here is to be as tanky as possible without Magic Atk Bonus falling into negative. Barrows = gp waste. - These XP Rates are FIXED at approx 42K xp/hr - If you have some cash to use, then use better fire spells(blast/wave/surge) and swap chaos gauntlets for tormented bracelet. - At 75 Magic you can now use Occult Necklace. Fixed XP Rate of 45K xp/hr - Can swap malediction ward for mage's book if 90+ defence. - Will require probably 300K Chaos Runes for 60-99 Magic. Suicide Awareness

In recent events in my life and personal events I have had friends and a family member commit or attempt suicide. Suicide is a terrible terrible thing and can be avoided. It seems the happiest of people with everything going for them down to the ones that feel like the road just ends and no ones there for them feel this horrible feeling of depression that no one cares or feel like there’s nothing for them left too accomplish and the world’s against them. I wanna tell you other wise. I want too let all of WG know that I’m here for every one of you guys as long as I’m apart of this community and play this game. Even if you have my info long after I leave this game whenever I do (probably never I love this game) I’m always here for an ear or if you live close too me I’ll drive too do whatever I can too save a life. I’ve lost 4 friends now too suicide and had a family member attempt it 3 times. It’s stressful as hell but ANYTHING we can do as people too help save something as valuable as your life I’m here for you. Someone in your life VALUES you. Someone in your life or even around you will take the time too listen too you. Someone is always a phone call away, a text away, FaceTime, video chat or a 5 minute drive away from you too help you in your darkest times. Anyone who’s struggling that hard, someone has a shoulder you can lean on too help you get through it. Even in the hole you think your in there’s a ladder to climb out of it, you just have too fight. There’s so much going for each and every one of you. Life’s not easy and never will be expecially in times like this we all are facing. You always need too know YOU are precious, YOU are special too someone. Too many people are having too fight this disease called depression and suicide is not the answer, Calling a friend is always the answer. A friend can be your neighbor, a police officer, a doctor, a firefighter, your parents, sibilings, grandparents, your dog or even us RuneScape friends. Don’t let this darkness overwhelm your light that you have to shine across this world. Someone loves you. Someone cares. I’m here for anyone at anytime. Just give me a shout. I’ve lost too many friends. 1 is too many. Reach out please. If anyone feels the same please post your name down below. We all need somebody. I can be someone’s somebody if you need me. Love you guys ✌

    WGs impact for me

I'd been thinking about this for a decent little while now, and been meaning/wanting to make a post for this, and what better time than now? First, I'd bounced around from clan to clan, and it was just that, just a clan, nothing special, nothing crazy, same few people in voice on discord and it never grew in size or community or impact. I'd been playing maybe.. six to eight months in that time frame and luckily I met @o mew in the last clan I was in. Who has become one of my closest friends in RS, and guided me here to WG which has turned into not only an amazing experience, amazing clan, and met some really awesome people, but it's become a family in a sense and for me in a time where I was pretty burnt out already and becoming bored of the game. It/you all have brought that excitement into it that I was missing. I've learned so much, from raids, to other bossing content, skilling methods, and man. The Pking. Before I joined the Wilderness Guardians, I pretty much avoided the wilderness as a whole. I'd venture out time to time and pk with some people but lord knows I had no clue what I was doing. Joining WG I've grown to absolutely love it, and the pkers in this clan. Who have all been patient and helped me grow and learn even to today. Specifically I want to thank @Skeet for that as he's helped really mentor me for a good while now. I've messaged him, constantly asking for tips advice what i'm doing wrong what I can do better, different mechanics and tactics help calling in trips you name it, I've probably asked him. Not only has he given be a response, but it is a detailed, lengthy, and descriptive response that I've been able to apply to my pking and has not only helped, but been a tremendous help at that and has helped me grow, consistently throughout my time here and has carried on still improving. I'd of course improve in WG and pking in general but to be where I am now, I have Skeet to thank for alot of that. But naturally the pkers, officers, warlords, leaders, MGs, and just pkers in general have helped me improve in that sense a ton. The community here truly is something different that makes the game just so much more enjoyable. Whether youre a skilling, pvmer, pker, or just in it for the chats and laughs. Everyone is friendly, helpful, jokes around and makes it truly enjoyable. I float in discord, literally all day and won't even be online just because I enjoy being apart of the community and talking to everyone so much. As I said above being a part of WG, the pvm side, I've learned how to do Cox, how to skip at olm, how to do NM efficiently, how to run TOB, all sorts of things above beyond and below. Efficient ways to boss, to raid, gear to have, using an alt for different bosses, and nobodys ever been any sort of rude or disrespectful or anything of sort if I didn't know it regardless of my levels or experience in game. They're just happy to teach and play with you. If it wasn't for WG I probably would have quit by now, so really. I just want to say thank you for being such a dope community and making this game so much more enjoyable to be on and play and talk to everyone. I hope everyone feels the same or gets to experience this to some degree in WG. Being a part of the Wilderness Guardians has been awesome. I love this clan and the people in it so again thank you !

I started playing in 2004, unfortunately missing the party hats, Halloween masks, and santa hats that I definitely would've kept. Funnily enough, I really enjoyed mining back then, and didn't care about XP rates or optimal training methods. Like most of us, I'd get back home after middle school, log in, and play with my school buddies without caring about XP waste. Eventually, I fell in love with PKing, more specifically clan warring. Tell us about your clan history. I've been in many clans since I first started playing RS in 2004, but they weren't really in the popular/warring scene. Demons of Runescape and Warhazard were the most prominent for me, but again, you may not have heard of these clans. Tell us about your yourself. My name is Dan, and I live in Iowa with my newborn baby, my wife, and am pretty close to Yasti, Crae, Skeet, and Smoke. I like to do a bunch of things, literally too much for me to list out. Generally anything outdoorsy, motorcycling/powersports, working out, and gaming. I recently graduated with a Kinesiology degree (Exercise Science) from Iowa State, and am taking a break from school before next year (probably med school or some variation of that). My dream job is to become an Astronaut! Oh, and Iowa is in the United States, right in the Midwest. Apparently, there are a bunch of WGers in Iowa (Atheist, Duhyaih, Jensen to name a few)! I've even met up with Atheist IRL. I'm pretty chill and get excited easily, and just want to be on good terms with everyone. How did you hear about us? I actually don't remember. I think I either searched the OSRS forums, or googled something. What makes you want to join us? I previously joined last year in July, and I remember that I wanted to find a clan with a long history and story. Coming from many other games in the past, that was the one thing I always looked at. When I was in a hardcore raiding guide in Guild Wars 2, I joined a clan that had a long and successful history. Same goes for WoW and FFXIV. Do you agree to the rules and requirements of WG and understand that this is an honour clan? Yes Come clean about anything that may deter us from accepting you: I am friends with many ex-WG as well as people from PvP clans that WG routinely fights in the wild (DR/PD). However, I've never and never will PK a WGer, regardless of my friendships with them. ALSO, I WAS GOING TO APPLY AFTER MY VACATION (September 12th to October 3rd), but I said that I would re-apply immediately if Pento made a Freg emoji on discord. Because of this, just know that even though I am applying today, you probably won't see me in-game or actually "back" and active until October. Also, I'd prefer not to be considered for or be given any Officer, Eventmaster/Staff roles in the future. I think all Officers and Staff have earned their roles and we have plenty of each to go around. I'd hate for me to have to step down like before because of IRL and cause turnover/changes in that hierarchy. I just want to scape with my friends. This doesn't mean that I'll help any less than before though!

    Mental health topic

Hey everyone, some of you may know how big of a deal mental health is for me, and as someone who's been struggling for a long time, I'd like to say to anyone out there needing help that you're not alone. I've met great people in this game and in this clan (shoutout to you @MsFreakyFrog), even the slightest act of kindness or progress in my account (lvling up, achieving goals, etc) has made me smile and keep fueling me on trying to get better. Anyways, if you think you need help or that you want to talk about something, feel free to pm me in game or discord, I'm always down to help other people, specially when it's about mental health. Hope everyone has a great day.

  20. To start off, please read the entire guide before committing to the build to make sure you do not make mistakes which may ruin your account. This guide is NOT achievement focused, meaning I will not be including everything you CAN do on your account, just what you NEED to do and what I suggest you do to have a PK build. As such, you will be locked out of certain achievements such as diary tasks by the end of the guide. If you wish to have an achievement focused/fully completionist maxed pure, I suggest doing your own research. Next, I feel it is important to mention that I did not make this quest order list entirely on my own. I found the list years ago on Reddit so I unfortunately do not know the creator's name. However, I have added a bunch of extra quests at the bottom of the list on my accord depending on the type of build you'd like to go for. Also, big shoutouts to @Hatred Sabre, @Corbula, and @Mojo for helping out with various things in the guide. If you want to go for a 60 attack, 52 prayer pure which I recommend, do all the optional quests mentioned except the Elf Quest Line as soon as possible and BEFORE 60 attack/52 prayer to give yourself enough XP leeway. The easiest time to do this would be after doing all the main quests for Desert Treasure/Mith Gloves/Ava's so you have some decent base stats. However, you may choose to weave the quests into the optimal quest order to minimize training. Useful links before you start your journey: - Combat level calculator: https://oldschool.tools/calculators/combat-level - Optimal Quest Order Guide: https://tinyurl.com/y4urgflv Step 1 - The basics: This guide assumes you are a member. Once you are done with tutorial island, have your main account ready to give your new pure some basics such as essential teleports (plenty of rings of wealths/glories), lots of stamina potions, and a nice big chunk of cash. About 10M should last you a VERY long time, but I recommend a minimum of 4-5M until at least the quests are done. Tele to the GE, buy a cannon, some cannonballs, like 200 dragon bones, and a burning amulet. Equip a ring of wealth and your burning amulet, grab like 150 dragon bones, a stamina potion, and some gp. Tele up to the lava maze, head straight for the chaos altar and get that 43 prayer out the way. 44/45 prayer helps as well for offensive prayers if you want to bring some extra bones. Next, tele out, grab a varrock teleport tablet and some GP, tele to varrock, head northeast close to the museum and buy yourself a house. Now you can use a lot of useful teleports in W330 in other people's POH. Grab your staminas, get a skills necklace, and any other reqs for the Dwarf Cannon Quest. Finish it off. Tele to the bank, grab your cannon and a lot of cannonballs. Your goal is to get 40 or, even better, 50 range. There are lots of spots you can do this at, but this is where I did mine on Zeah: THIS SPOT HAS BEEN CHANGED/REMOVED WITH THE NEW QUEST "A Kingdom Divided" AND THE SHAYZIEN REWORK. Once you get your 40 or 50 range, quickly finish off waterfall quest for 30 attack as a prereq to wielding a battlestaff. You should have no issues as you're 43 prayer. Head to the GE, grab a few house teleports, some staminas, an elemental staff, the 4 colored beads, a necklace of passage, a smoke battlestaff, some elemental runes to get you to 30 magic, and mind/chaos runes depending on how much money you want to spend. Finish off imp catcher real quick for 8 magic (optional), then head to port sarim and begin your splashing journey to at least 59 magic. At this point, you can train your magic up to whatever level you want. 82-85 for baby pures, 94-95 for mid level pures, 99 for maxed pures. OPTIONAL FUN: If you've splashed all the way to 59 magic, you should still have 10 HP. You can use this opportunity to have some fun by grabbing a tome of fire, fire blast runes, and whatever cheap magic attack bonus gear you can. Maybe snare sacks too. Grab a games necklace, tele up to corp cave, and run north to the black chin area. You can 1 shot some low level black chin hunters. Make sure you don't forget protect item. You may choose to do this at 71 magic as well with divine magic potions into fire wave (with at least 11 HP). Beware of pkers! Step 2 - Questing: With your current 43 prayer and 59 magic, you can now easily complete all the required quests for DT/Mith Gloves/Ava's. Be careful to not complete Monkey Madness if you want to burst/chin at skeletal monkeys. I REPEAT. DO NOT FINISH MONKEY MADNESS 1 IF YOU WANT TO BURST/CHIN THERE. YOU WILL GET DEFENSE XP IF YOU DO THE TRAINING AFTER THE QUEST IS DONE. There are cheaper alternatives to this but if it's your thing, keep an eye out. It's the best xp/hr you'll get from chinning/bursting, and it is not possible to access after quest completion. Your main alternative to this is temple spiders, but I personally recommend splashing magic and doing NMZ for range to minimize hp lvl gain. That's all step 2 is, questing! Step 3 - Optional Quests: At this point, you should have decent base stats, and you should be able to complete some optional quests depending on the path you want to follow on your pure. You may choose to weave the quests into the optimal path as you get the reqs. Do NO further training until you're sure of what you want. If you want to limit yourself to 50 or 60 (recommended) attack, make sure you do all the quests that you can for attack xp before training attack. I would highly recommend doing the NMZ quests listed regardless of the situation. If you want to limit yourself to 52 prayer, do the anchor quest line, the extra prayer quests mentioned, and the ancient mace quest line. This will also get you the ancient mace for future macing if needed in addition to the Barrelchest Anchor which is a great combo with the granite maul and the hardest hitting melee weapon you'll get at 60 attack. Step 4 - The End of Your Journey: Congratulations! Your account is now fully quested and you are on the final stretch. All you need to do now is afk and train your account. There are various guides you can follow at this point, but I will suggest a few things. Magic: Splash splash splash. You want to keep your hp level as low as possible unless you want to max your pure. This will give you a very big combat level advantage in fights and allow you to attack lower levels. Alching is also an option if you don't mind clicking much. I did a lot of alching during quests, while training some skills like agility, and between castle wars games if I missed one. You can also burst at temple spiders or skeletal monkeys depending on what you feel like and whether or not you completed Monkey Madness 1. The only req is ice burst (you can boost with imbued heart/divine magic potions). Here's a guide on how to kill them. Range: I suggest cannoning to 50 range at which point you can head off to NMZ with an imbued magic shortbow and rune arrows. Do this method until whatever range you feel like. If going for a baby pure, 82-83 range is good. Otherwise aim for 90+ (try to keep it around the same lvl as your magic). If you don't want to do NMZ, you can also train on the sand crabs at the depths of despair dungeon using Runelite's NPC Aggression Timer. This is less afk but slightly more xp/hr. If you have a regen brace, you should be fine if you only tank a couple of crabs. Otherwise, you'll probably need some food. If you have money to spend and don't want to afk, you can chin at either temple spiders or skeletal monkeys, similar to what was mentioned in the mage section regarding bursting. Melee: Grab a brine sabre, a granite hammer, and a d scim. You will want to use your brine sabre to first train your strength to 50, then attack to 50. At this point you will swap to a granite hammer and train attack to 60 at which point you will swap to a dragon scimitar. Now it's just strength training all the way. If you want to stay as a baby pure, you probably won't be training past 60 attack/strength in order to avoid extra combat levels. You could however stay at 50 attack and get your strength to the 70s to allow you to G Maul. You have a couple of training options. I personally trained to 60/60 at sand crabs in the Depths of Despair dungeon. At this point I moved to NMZ. You can just do NMZ straight up if you wish, but I recommend at least 50/50 first. Other optional stuff: You can do LMS or castle wars for a halo as that is best in slot for pures. LMS is also great practice for NH tribridding which is what you will mainly be doing on the pure. You can do castle wars for the decorative top (ranged/mage) as that is best in slot for pures. At some point, you will want to do Mage Arena I and II for the god capes/spells. Fire cape is easy to get starting 75 range with a blowpipe but you can wait until you're much higher range to make it even easier. You should train your ranged before melee for this reason. Curse of the Empty Lord Miniquest for Ghostly pieces. Very good/free pk gear. 65 Construction or 62+Eyes of Glouphrie to boost to 70 for POH pool. P.S: Editing will come soon to make it all look nicer.

  22. Hello everyone and welcome to my (somewhat) in-depth flipping guide! I've been wanting to do this for awhile now since this is basically what i do best in OSRS. If you know me, you'll know that i basically live at the G.E. I've been flipping for the past year studying how the market works and the in's and out's of it. If you don't know what flipping is, its basically you buying an item(s) from the grand exchange for a certain price and selling it back for a higher price for PROFIT. I know that we are known for PKing and I've learned a lot from going on trips with you PK fiends, but hopefully now i can teach you a little something about something i love in OSRS. DISCLAIMER: THIS GUIDE IS TO HELP YOU MAKE AS MUCH MONEY POSSIBLE, HOWEVER, THE MARKET CAN BE TRICKY SOMETIMES AND YOU COULD LOSE MONEY, SOMETIMES A LOT DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION. (flip at your own risk) BEFORE YOU FLIP: Before we start talking about the juicy stuff, lets talk about the stuff you need to know before you start becoming runescapes richest man. YOU NEED MONEY Obviously, you need money to start flipping. If you want to make a decent return on investment (ROI) i'd suggest 10+ M, however if you don't have that much cash, a few Mill will do just fine. YOU WILL LOSE MONEY Yeah i know, why are you even reading this guide if you are gonna lose money? It's part of the deal, you have to live and learn, same with flipping. Sometimes the market shits the bed and that flip you thought was gonna be a goldmine shits the bed too. YOU WILL MAKE MONEY This is what you wanted to hear right? I GUARANTEE you that if you follow the guide, you'll make money. Flipping is one of OSRS least common things to do because people are scared to try or just don't know how to do it. Hopefully by the end of this guide you will give it a shot and make some big $$$. BUY LIMIT There's this thing called a buy limit in OSRS which prevents people from exploiting the Grand Exchange if there's a really good flip. The buy limit can vary depending on what item you want to buy. For example, if you want to flip runes, the buy limit is 12k but if its something like a Berserker Ring, its only 8. The buy limit resets every 4 hours, that means if you put in an offer for a berserker ring at 5:00 PM and it sells, your buy limit for the next 4 hours until 9:00 PM will be 7 since you already purchased one. If you have Runelite, it will show you the buy limit above the item you are trying to buy like this: RETURN ON INVESTMENT Return on investment is basically just fancy for the margin of money you will make. The ROI is calculated by subtracting the sell price from the buy price (margin) and then dividing it by the buy price, then you multiply it by 100 to get a %. This probably sounds confusing so ill walk you through it better. I bought the Black chin for 3,457 gp and sold it for 3,448 gp. It looks confusing because i just lost money but i was checking to see what i could flip it for and find out what the buying and selling rate at that moment is. That is called a PRICE CHECK! So now that we price checked it, we can find the ROI. To do this we take the price i want to buy it at (3,448) (THE PRICE I SOLD IT AT) and subtract it from the sell price (3,457) (THE PRICE I PURCHASED IT AT)which equals 9. After that i divide it by the buy price (3,448) which equals .00261, I then multiply this by 100 to get a %. The ROI is this flip would be .26 which is very bad. Normally I aim to go for a 1.0%+ ROI. THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF FLIPS There's two different types of flips you can do, there is the High Volume Flip and the High Margin Flip. Lets talk about the High Volume Flip first. The High Volume Flip is a very safe flip and great for beginners. The reasoning behind this is because there is a lot less room for error when you do this one because of the lower cost of each item. Items that classify as a High Volume Flip are consumables such as darts, logs, farming supplies, crafting supplies, anything that the G.E. sees an influx of every day. I personally love to do these because its basically like guaranteed money since its so safe. Another tip if you are doing this flip is to set your offers at night time if you are doing a flip on a heavily botted item such as fish or logs. The reasoning is because the bot accounts always dump their items at the end of their night when they are finished botting for that day. This will make a marginal difference but its a small tip i like sharing. Lastly, this flip is faster than the other one because of so many of that item coming in. If you are flipping an item with 12k buy limit and buy atleast a few thousand, it shouldn't take more than a few hours. The second flip is called a High Margin Flip. This flip is a tiny more difficult than the last one but can yield much more profit if done correctly. The reason i say that is because it is much more of a risk doing a High Margin Flip because you are putting all your money on one or a few items. Back to our previous example on the Berserker Ring, its fairly expensive which means the price will fluctuate in higher gaps rather than something like a High Volume item such as an Oak log. This can be a good thing but also a bad thing but most of the time good. The only reason it could be bad is if the market on that item crashes for some reason, such as a new update is polled and people panic buy the item. Also doing a price check on this type of flip is not recommended since the prices are so high and you will lose lots price checking it. Your best bet is to look the item up on one of the websites listed below and try to YOLO buy it for less than what its buying for or you can look on G.E. tracker and see what it recommends you offering for it. The last thing about this kind of flip is that it WILL take much longer to flip (possibly a couple days) this is because of the low influx of these items coming into the G.E., but if you are patient enough it will most likely end in your favor. HOW TO START FLIPPING: Before you do anything, you need to choose an item to flip. This is the hardest part of flipping and getting started. There are thousands of items in Runescape so you'd think picking one would be easy right? WRONG. Obviously its easy to choose a random item and buy it and sell it back for a few gp for what you bought if for, but that's now what were here for. We are here to buy multiples of an item with a decent ROI and sell it back to make the big bucks. There are a few ways to find the best items to flip. The Official Oldschool Runescape website The OSRS website features a grand exchange function which shows: Price rises and falls, most valuable trades, and most traded. These are all shown in Top 100. All four of them are great tools to finding an item but the most helpful one is the "Most Traded" section. This section is GREAT for High Volume Flips! It shows the top 100 traded items for the last 7 days, the reason this is so great because you can always count on these items to pay out since Millions upon Millions are being traded by the day. The second website I highly suggest is: G.E. Tracker This Website in combination with the OSRS website is phenomenal. Its a great website to look up items and see the price that its going for at the present moment. It also shows which items have a good ROI and which ones have a shitty one. Although i do not recommend trusting the ROI it has on the website because its not up to date by the second so i usually do the price check manually if its a High Volume Flip and wont cost much. I mainly use this website to search up prices of items i am interested in flipping. Another use for this website is that it shows you a general price on what you should offer which is good for High Margin Flips since you can ballpark it when you place an offer for one. DOING A FLIP: Now it's time to put everything together you learned and do a flip. Just to show you i'm not shit talking you, ill do a flip step by step of both versions. Lets start out with a High Volume Flip. First thing i had to do was choose an item, I went over to G.E. Tracker and decided to go into the new items list. Since its a few weeks after the Kebos update, the prices are beginning to settle. The item i chose to try to flip was the Hydra Bones. The first reason is because as you can see, the buying and selling quantity are very large. My next step was to do a price check in-game and figure out the ROI. I priced checked it and wowee, that is a big margin just looking at it, but lets do the math to make sure. 5,100 - 5030 = 70. 70 divided by 5,100 = .0137. Multiply that number by 100 and you get a ROI of 1.37%! Lets try it, ill put a buy offer in for 500 Hydra Bones for 5,030. They bought in under 10 minutes surprisingly, lets put it back in for 5100 and leave it in there and see what happens. About an hour went by so i decided to drop the price from 5,100 to 5,080, it took me about another hour before they sold. Although it wasn't a great flip, we still made money which is the goal and took barely any effort. In the end, we purchased 500 Hydra bones for 5030 and sold them for 5,080 netting us a 25k flip. This flip wasn't bad but also wasn't great. Lets do our High Margin Flip now. Lets head back over to G.E. Tracker and see what we have. I went to the "High Margin" tab and looked through the list and saw that the Dragon Defender Ornament Kit had a very high ROI. (It doesn't look great in the screenshot but i took the screenshot an hour or so after i put in the offer so the price changed) I placed an offer in for 1.385M and let it sit, It surprisingly came through in about 20 minutes. I immediately put it back in for around 1.42M and 5 minutes later it sold. I could have maybe priced this one higher since it seemed the price was going up but i did not want to be greedy. Lets do the math on the ROI for this one. I sold it for 1.42M and purchased it for 1.385M. If i subtract the two i get around 35K. I divide that by the selling price to get .024, multiplied by 100 to get a whopping 2.46%! 35K in about 25 minutes doing nothing sounds good to me. Both of these flips were done with less than 4M so they were very small, you can get large scale and multiply your money made by increasing the items flipped, I just wanted to do a small simple flip to show how easy it can be done. Well, that's about all i can teach you, I don't think I forgot anything but if you think i did let me know. If anyone has any questions or anything feel free to PM me in-game or on discord. If you made it this far, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed or learned something.

  24. Hello folks! So most of you know I joined WG when my 'main' (ol phantasm) was just a starterup that I made so I could enjoy more of the game other than just pking on my pure. But to be honest, I haven't done much actual scaping other than getting my combat to 120 in nmz and pking a bunch with you guys or being somewhat inactive otherwise. Well recently I've been a lot more active in scape and I actually feel a bit of a resurgence in my passion for the game outside the wildy. So I've set some short and long term goals for my account that I thought I'd share. Starting out, these are the stats / achievements: Lets be real, it's not very impressive My short term goals are: - 92 pray - 99 mage since I literally stopped at 98.5 and then forgot about it 6 months ago - Kandarin Hard diaries, since what the fuck why did nobody tell me it increases your bolt crit % - Wilderness Hard diaries, so I dont have to ask for taxi's to/from ferox enclave anymore - 1750 total, so I stop missing all the good fights in total worlds lol - Song of the Elves, cause everybody keeps telling me the unlocks are super legit and it will keep me busy for a bit - Elite Void set - A pet. Any pet. After that, I'm looking at steadily grinding towards some real longer term goals: - 2000 total - 500m / 750m / 1bil bank for PvM gear - Quest cape - 500 / 750 / 1000 collections logged - 1,000 clues completed - 5 PvM pets Eventual end game goals are basically max stuff as far as it can go aslong as I feel the desire to play the game. But I think realistically I'd want to accomplish the following: - All diaries completed - 2200 total - The inferno. Maaaaaybe. This topic is essentially just a place I can post some cool or funny stuff I find along the way. I may post a bunch at times and not a lot at others, but will try to keep some progress posts flowing. So, hope you enjoy seeing me clown about in Gielinor!

    About staking

A lot of people nowadays pm me about if they should stake their bank. I went from 40m to 2.2b bank, that is true. But.... First of all, I went to dueal arena, becuz I was drunk af. I don't remember a single duel. I wouldn't go there otherwise (becuz most of times you will end up with nothing). Second thing - I was ready to loose my bank. My idea was to "loose all and train runecrafting". But, sadly I got lucky. Third and most important thing - I WOULD NEVER QUIT OsRs. Most of people who stake their banks and loose - quit. Just dont risk it, if you're not ready to play after that. Remember. Free cheese is only in a mousetrap.

  27. Posting this today as I feel people should speak about there mental health more like I did. So I have struggled with my mental health from a young age lost my parents in a car accident when I was 10 and shortly after that I was in a mental asylum in Inverness(not as bad as it sounds) was there for 2 weeks to get help for my depression as nothing made me happy and I didn't want to live. Feel like doctors just threw drugs at me. But after speaking to people in a similar state that I was in I began to realise that it wasn't just me that had these problems and to be honest ever since the group meetings I have never looked back. Fast forward 12 years my life was perfect had a child on the way hade the same partner since we were 12 she's my rock. Woke up one morning with a loud ringing noise in my ear that I couldent get rid of waited a week like the doctors said and it just didn't get any better they told me it was an ear infection., so I got anti biotics and it made it so much worse and was stuck with it they said it couild be permanent damage. And that brought back the feelings of wanting to kill myself again for the first month of dealing with tinnitus I did not want to live, I did not want to see my son I just wanted to die (if u have not had tinnitus u won't understand how debilitating it is) the first month was the hardest my partner had never seen me cry before I just couldent cope. But with the love from my family and support I have managed to get past it now I have lived with it for 2 years and I know its there but I can ignore it. I finally have started to enjoy life again Basically I'm saying speak about it there is always someone who will listen your family and friends will be there for you. I have missed out parts I don't think really need to be mentioned. Ignore the terrible grammar my spelling is crap

  28. Hi everyone, I'm Warner, others may remember me by Sabre Chilli. After chatting with Vio, Gene, Ghost and hatred it renewed some old flames for WG. A brief history, I was in the sabre's for the longest time, like 10 years maybe ultimately becoming leader. I have a lot of fond memories with WG following multiple alliances and events over the years. Mostly i play my main, Warner but ive recently made an iron man just to dabble on when im bored. Ingame I enjoy slayer, raids and other pvm. If anyones down for cox hit me up, even if you want to learn.

  29. On this day 16 years ago the Wilderness Guardians was created. I'll let our tweets do the talking this year, I'm not one for big speeches! As you can see above, we have launched our own wiki: https://www.wildernessguardians.com/w/Main_Page Because of the sheer scale of our clan history it is far from complete but we shall endeavour to complete it over the coming months! Happy Birthday WG!

    Breakaway Clans

First-generation clans: The Synergy was an exodus of WG formed by Eragon CD in April 2004. Synergy drew several members from WG who were unhappy with the leadership[2], and in two weeks were half as strong as WG. Despite attempts at negotiations, a fight initiated and the clans became enemies. Eragon and His Lordship eventually worked out a peace treaty and even an alliance.[3] Synergy also took part in WG's first anniversary. In late 2004/early 2005, several exodi broke off from Synergy as a result of internal leadership issues, including Sleeping Dragons and Death Jesters.[4] The clan survived, and helped restart the Federation in mid-2005. WG retained it's alliance with Synergy after leaving the Federation. It is unknown when the alliance was concluded, however Synergy continued steadily up until mid-2008, closing due to the removal of PvP elements in RuneScape.[5] The Synergy had a junior clan known as The Synergizers, several members of which joined Valeria Victrix.[1] The Revolution was the second exodus of WG, formed by Noricle and Rick Hamm after an anti-American rant was posted publicly by His Lordship. Within two weeks, TR had taken over 40 members from WG, and had the sole intention of killing WG. TR established themselves as a stable ARPKing clan, with some of the highest ranking players in the game. Negotiations were attempted in mid-March of 2005, but failed and the two clans remained hostile. On March 22nd and without much warning, TR suddenly disbanded for unknown reasons. Rick Hamm returned to WG. Neverending Torment - The second exodus of WG to be led by Rick Hamm, and founded mainly by ex-WG. The clan's focus was more on friendship and community rather than in-game strength. NT is not mentioned in WG's history, and seemingly had very little success, though is known to have closed and re-opened at least once.[1] Assassins of Shadow - an exodus formed by ex-WG member Ubg-fcbruges in late 2008, and featuring several other ex-members. Despite having a relatively good setup, the clan saw little success and survived for only a few months, closing on October 29th 2008. The Blade Keepers was a clan formed in February 2011 by Vio, following his departure from WG after a suspension. Within 2 months the clan outnumbered WG, and members included former WG warlord WG Justin.[12] Initially on peaceful terms, a few disgruntled WG decided to hunt TBK on a PKing trip, resulting in a rivalry.[13] Hostilities continued for several months, with WG generally having the upper hand until an alliance was formed between TBK and Team Power Rangers which evened the odds.[14] In April 2011, a range of issues casued TBK to split with two exodi breaking out from it.[15] Despite a peace treaty being negotiated with WG, after a month the clan had not managed to recover and the decision to close was made on May 4th 2011.[16] Members were referred onto former Warlord Vindicator's clan Exalt, while Vio joined Ascension and later rejoined WG.[17] Oak Island Pirates - founded in 2006 by Oak Island, a former leader of DG. Despite heavy criticism and early hostilities, OIP is the only surviving relative of WG at the present time.[1]

  33. Just a quick thrown together basic guide for those interested in killing the Alchemical Hydra The setup im using works for me you may wish to swap things around until you find the combo you like best Bracelet of slaughter is recommended to swap to for the final kill to lengthen your task at hydra, Dramen staff not needed if elite diary is done and you can tele without it, can swap out sharks and pots ( Range, Antivenom+ & Stamina ) for brews and sanfew serums for prolonged trips at a higher cost. YOU WILL ALWAYS NEED BOOTS OF STONE OR GRANITE BOOTS TO AVOID TAKING DAMAGE JUST BEING IN THE CAVE FROM THE HOT FLOOR Easiest way to reach Mount Karuum is via fairy ring CIR, Skills necklace or Farming guild teleport with 99 farming To Reach the hydra lair go down the elevator in the middle of the mountain, once inside the layout is like this The hydra has 5 forms all up in the first form it is Grey, Second form is Blue, Third form is red, Fourth form is also red and the 5th form it will turn black. In order to attack the Hydra you must lure each form over its respective grate first so the chemicals spraying up will 'deactivate' the hydras protection, the grey first form must be lured over the red grate The second blue form over the green grate And the third form over the blue grate After the third form you no longer have to lure it over the grates In the first 3 forms it has both a range and mage attack aswell as a spitting poison across multiple squares randomly, in the first 4 forms the hydra will attack with 3 of the same attack style in a row before switching to the other, The magic attack send out 3 thin projectiles and the range 1 single larger projectile. ( The poison attack doesnt count towards the attack switching mechanics so if your on two range attacks then the poison the next hit will be the third range attack ) The second form ( Blue ) also has an electric attack that spawns in multiple locations and chases you around you must outrun these or you will be unable to move for a small period and take damage of up to 20hp In the fourth form ( Red ) the hydra will walk to the middle of the room and shoot out 2 walls of fire essentially blocking you into a small section of the lair and then shoot out a single flame that will follow you around as you run damaging you with every hit until it runs out. Once you reach the fifth form the hydra turns black and will alternate every attack between mage and range similar to the jad phase but is guaranteed to swap Without the correct pray you can be hit for upto 40+ so try to concentrate your switching after every kill If you do die here you can collect your items for a 100k fee from just outside the Alchemical Hydra room, remember to grab another pair of stone boots before you go to collect your stuff otherwise you run the risk of dying and losing your stored items! Happy hunting and goodluck! Has been many years since ive written a runescape guide if you have any suggestions let me know Sieggy

    Intro - Daddy Grov

Hello everyone, My name is Magnus, I’m a 27 year old married man. I’m the bigger brother of “Grovsomfaen” which sadly newly took a brake & hopefully will be back. I want to start off by being honest, I’ve been a ghost in this clan from the beginning of April. I haven’t taken the time to put my self in to how the forum works, congratulating and welcoming new members, nor getting to know the existing member when I first got here, anyhow I’m attending to become the clan member you all deserve This is not an excuse, but an explanation of why I am so egocentric and why I’ve been standing in the shadows grinding skills and levels. Sorry I started playing RuneScape very early, about 2008 maybe and just got back a few months ago. Trying to grind as hard as life allows me to, so I can build confidence to myself and my account to contribute to the game and events. I can’t wait to get to know all of you and enjoy the game together. - Daddy Grov, Out

    The Return

Hello there, My name is Damian, Though most people will know me as Slump, with my recent return to Runescape and the clan i thought it would be a good idea to make a new intro so i can introduce myself to the new members of the clan. I am a former advisor of WG, on January 15th 2020 i Resigned from this position and stepped away from Runescape due to major burnout at the time, After over a year of not playing the game i'v finally found renewed interest and have set new goals for my account in the future, With these new goals i hope to be around for the next few years at least. I'm sure there are still some of people around who will remember me from my time in WG previously and i look forward to talking to you soon. as for the new members of the clan, I look forward to getting to know you all and hope we can get along. Thank you for taking the time to read this. ~Slump
