That sparked some interest and someone asked what I off-road in. Now, I'm wondering what everyone else likes to do in their spare time! Reply to this post by saying what you like to do for fun. Bonus points if you include a photo! I'll go first - aside from what I already mentioned, I'm really fortunate to live in British Columbia because it is SO beautiful here. Outside of city development, it is a literal rain forest. So, I really enjoy taking scenic photos of nature. I'm not a photographer by any means, all of these were taken on my phone, but its something I enjoy and I think they're worth sharing. Zeldan Posted June 5, 2019 Share Posted June 5, 2019 I'm a geek lol, so mostly my hobbies are pretty nerdy. If I lived somewhere that beautiful that would change though! I like to play RS, other random games when I don't get distracted. I get bored of video games fast nowadays. I need to find a good RPG lol. Right now I just play OSRS, watch TV (a lot of shows, nerdy and otherwise), play Pathfinder, or just drink or smoke with my roommates tbh. Pictures are a session of Pathfinder I played recently that I somehow have a picture of, and my tattoo to prove geek commitment. I'm happy you commented, I'm actually in the market for a camera that's better than my phone LOL. Any suggestions? Willing to spend 500-100 for a point and shoot, preferrably one that's durable enough to hike and climb with. Donatello Posted June 8, 2019 Share Posted June 8, 2019 @kittybeanz yes I know the best choices, at work I also work in the photo department so i know what customers buy.You need to go after a camera with high mega pixels higher than 18 MP. In the winter I like to read a lot and play chess next to the fireplace with a warm lait choco. In the summertime I like to go on a hike/roadtrip, scuba diving in the old clay pits around here. Too many people and cars, they're building new appartements/houses like there's no tomorrow. But I can't complain because I don't have to go far to see some nice places or get away in the nature. The picture I took was at the small " St- Bernarduskapel " at road towards the entry of the abbey. The monks build it after WW2 in memory of the two planes that got shot down nearby during the war. Here's a pic of the entry itself. It's named Abbey of Westmalle (official: " abdij van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van het Heilig Hart van Westmalle ", mostly known by the famous Westmalle Trippel. Only 3KM away from where I live and it is pretty lovely to walk around, if you can stomach the smell of the brewing process. On a nice day it looks exactly like this below!
