Game A

This game has a couple of rules that requires abit of reading but all in all the gist of the game is about changing only 1 letter each time to make another valid word. Until no one is able to make another word from the prevailing word, the player of that last active word will be named the winner of the game.

This particular game has no limitations to the number of letters in the words to be played unlike the current 4-letters game, which means the results can swing several ways.

The winner will get to post a word of their choice to start the next game.

Please read the RULES OF GAME

Dictionaries
4 Dictionaries STRICTLY to refer to are:
CAMBRIDGE DICTIONARY ONLINE
CONCISED OXFORD
MERRIAM-WEBSTER (assoc. Encyclopædia Britannica)
AMERICAN-HERITAGE

We will try this out and see where it leads us. If the game survives we'll continue to the next game, if not and/or when it dies out, the game and the rounds will completely stop.

HALL OF WINNERS
It's a pretty tactical word game, you create words to lock others, or trap the next person to form a dead end.

* Top 3 game winners
* Largest number of words game play winner
* Fastest closing game by least words counter played
* Fastest timed closed game

If you like you can view the list here: PAST RECORD HOLDERS.

That aside, to start fresh let's see who the current champs really are. Most of all, have fun smile.gif

First Word: TIME

Words used so far (alphabetically)
Please do check words before you just in case, this list serves as a summary to be updated as we go along but may not be so at the moment you are playing.

Camber Clamber Camper
Damper
Flume Flame
Hamper
Lime Lump Lamber Lambert Lambent Lament Lamen Lame Labent Latent

You can also use Ctrl + F on every page you open before you post a word to check if anyone else has already posted the word. Thanks.

Can you add/take letters instead of changing them?

Eg - Lime -> Slime

If not, Line for me.

flim

Not sure Flim could make it, its a nice try though. Flim goes with "flim-flam" to mean talking in order to confuse, without "flam" "flim" seems to mean nothing, unlike "flam" can very well function on its own, can't find the other dictionaries to verify it.

So, so sorry Omar.

Last valid word is from Samurai's "Flume", following with FLAME TY!
