I saw a topic on another forum and thought it would be a good idea to post it here also.My answer: I would get cell phones, chargers, and batteries call my loved ones and friends. If they are still alive we would meet up at a place and start gathering other survivors. I would then break into a gun store or Wal-Mart to get some rifles, shotguns, snipers, pistols, and automatic weapons and set up a barricade. I was telling her how some kid in my class last year had a book on the best weapons to survive a zombie outbreak. And according to that book a repeating rifle is the best weapon given bullets. For melee the best is a small baseball bat (going on the theory that if u take out their brain they die). Personally I would grab my girlfriend and family and drive east towards the Atlantic, on the way picking up guns and upgrading/stealing trucks along the way to ensure my safety. And then stabilize myself on a ship and sail for Madagascar. My friends and I would armor up our big pick-up trucks with steel plating and mount 50 cal. machine guns on them. We would then steal a school bus, paint it black, fly a jolly roger(pirate) flag from it, and put cannons inside of it facing out of every window. Any large, 4x4, heavy-duty vehicle would be commandeered and armored up for our traveling fleet of pwnage. 2. We would then find all the necessary battle/survival gear. Water-recycling systems, plenty of various weapons, composite battle armor, non-perishable food, HAM radios and equipment, etc.. 3. In any type of apocalyptic situation, we would be a roaming gang of hooligans that generally causes mayhem and pwns zombies or whatever else our enemy might consist of. The funny thing is, we could actually do everything I mentioned. Except for maybe the cannons on the school bus, but it would be something like that. Very nice. I'd imagine the bus kind of but what if you can't see out the windows lol. An addition, my local Costco has a Lowe's by it and bookstores and stuff. I would barricade entrances with stuff from Lowe's, get the the car out the Costco front (hopefully it's heavy duty), and I'd pretty much survive with my gig there. -------------------- Guardian from 4/20/09 to 8/4/09, then quit. We would name our self Survival Army. Stealing guns and ammo as much as we can and any provisions we can take. Taking cars and trucks to carry them all out we would all mass up at my high school where we could have good sniper coverage. Having snipers on the roof and inside the school our provisions plus ammo would be hidden. We would cut down all the trees around the school and use it for traps and walls. During the day we would go out and look for survivors and hopefully a doctor. The day would consist of a daily routine of morning breakfast work out salvaging lunch recreation dinner survival. Once we find a doctor we would capture one of the zombies to see if their is a way we could find a major weakness on destroying all of them at once. If the doctor could not find then we would search for the zombies house of holding in which we would set up fuses all along and destroy there hive of rest. Once annhilating the zombies in our area we would set up a military base and send out radio signals day in and out of our location and how its safe here. Once we have set up the base with metal walls and fortified machine guns (provided by the stolen military equipment from any nearby base) we will deal with the zombie nation at large. Spreading through the US we would try to annhilate all the zombies by finding their living areas. Making bases all along the US while doing so. Once this long and exhausing feat is over we will take over Canada of any zombies. Seeing how zombies have little exodermis covering they would most likely freeze in the northern areas so this feat would be easy but not taken lightly. Once Canada is finished for sure we would start sending out the message worldwide that North America is safe. Seeing as how mexico we would just mass artillery fire them as for no survivors could be found. Once North america is safe we will attempt at russia for it is the closest to North America and we are already used to the cold from the Canada Campaign. Striking through Russia would be easy due to the huge amount of land and little population. Making military bases where old WWII bases were and using ammunition and supplies from the main bases in America we will take Russia head on. Europe will be our next target for their could be another army there. Hopefully if there is some sort of militia there we would ally with them in the takeover of Europe. Using the same tactics as we have in America we would take Europe and recover it as a nation strong and proud. For the time being we will stop the war against zombies only to defend as we send out survival searchers. Obviously by now it would have been many years and any chance of major survivals would have come to our main bases. We spend 2 years searching for survivors in all major countries but find none. We know decide the only chance is to annhilate the rest of the world. Using the nuclear warheads from russia we locate and destroy the major zombie populatoin. Waiting months for the radiation to pass by we will search and clear out the remaining zombies. With the zombie army decreased to very little we will find a way to make our immune systems attack the zombie infection so that no future zombiefications would occur. Now that the world is safe we will have become one as people and re build the great world as one. Me being the leader of course will be remembred eons to come as the Leader who defeated the zombies. Me being fifteen now and around 50 when this all ended. Preferably one with a choke-point entrance that I can fortify and a lookout post. - Travel only in the day-time and for short periods of time. - Try to keep a pet. A dog would make a good companion and guard, making up for the food it requires. - Keep a supply of weapons (of course). Preferably shotguns, explosives, blades, and flamerthrowers. I would also opt for a scope or sniper rifle, for scouting. - Store fresh water wherever I find it. - Mark places with messages, describing my location and password/code for entry. - Keep a musical instrument for recreational purposes and also to send signals. - Assuming I have a lot of fresh water and food, train my leg muscles and work on cardio. - Only eat 3 meals a day. - Collect any form of energy I can. - If I find any new people, I will watch them carefully for the next few weeks. I wil refrain from telling them were all my weapons are. If possible, I would prefer to have a group of people to work with... but if it's not possible, I can easily work alone. ...
