As long as it isn't getting out of hand (which your previous one was not) then it should be left open. It may be the most ridiculous rant ever, but its for people to vent their frustration and anger. It really does help, and locking a rant only gets people angrier. In the future, please do NOT lock rants just because you don't like the rant. I can understand locking the original post about re-instituting the adult forum, I guess... But this rant no longer is about that, this rant is about CLOSING other rants. Its completely unnecessary. This forum is for suggestions, compliments, and RANTS. Just because you don't like a rant doesn't mean you should lock it, because chances are you won't like most rants posted on this forum. -------------------- | ||||||||||

It was taken into consideration and denied. Sure, a rant is a rant and he has a right to post it, but when it has been denied again and again he continues to post. The first topic about getting the forum back was locked, and this was justified. But the rant that was posted afterwards did NOT ask for the forum back, it was just a rant because a member was unhappy. If it was left unlocked then eventually the rant would die down on its own, and the member would be happy that he got to vent his frustration. On the other hand, you have only caused more frustration. BTO, if you ranted about it once then it should not be locked. If you ranted about it twice or more, then yes. Only one rant is necessary, and as long as you were able to vent your frustration then the forum has served its purpose. As I've said numerous times in my previous posts in this thread, a rant is to vent frustration, it does not demand something. Just let members vent, and eventually the rant will die down and everyone will be happy. -------------------- | ||||||||||

This is the problem of trying to make a point when talking about something that you cannot even see. The "WG Wank Bank" was a joke title created by me, and apart from a few personal pic's that us tertiaries have shared with each other (such as some private pic's of me at a party that I dont want everyone to see) the forum only serves to keep a record of how many porn topics we actually get, and helps us Admins ban the porn poster if it is a tertiary that gets to it first. I can assure you that there is not a single porn pic in there, all the topics have been edited to have the pictures removed and anyone telling you otherwise is wrong. At the end of the day the best thing that happened in that forum is a bit of joking around by tertiaries/council.
