I am going to be in charge of a totally new activity in WG, WG Pures. Let me briefly describe it for you. WG Pures will be a sub-sector of WG, in which we will pk F2P PVP worlds on low level pures. (about levels 20-35) All who want to are invited to participate on a weekly or bi-monthly raid for just the pure accounts. It will not be mandatory, but will be strongly encouraged. It will be great fun, trust me! I used to go on pure raids with my in real life friends in the old wilderness, and it was so fun! Considering our warring experience and numbers, we should be a serious threat to the F2P community. I will ask our Allies to participate in this as well to see if there is any interest. Here are some answers to some possible questions you may have. Q: Glenn, wtf is a pure, are you on illegal substances? A: A pure is an account that is based solely on offensive, usually on one combat type. An example is an account that is 40 ranging, 1 atk and strength, and 1 defense. A pure can be any type of combat style! Every single one is a power house at low levels. Q: But Glenn, with the trade limit, trading training and pking supplies is impossible! A: It is not. Jagex recently expanded the trade limit to 5,000 gp per 15 minutes. This may not sound like much, but is plenty. To train in F2P, 10k gets you tons of mind runes for training mage, plenty of arrows for range, and all your weapons for training melee. Getting to level 20 or 30 should not cost too much, really. Q: Glenn, since I will be starting a new account, what should I name it?!?! A: Well, many of us are going to base our RSN off of "Wg_name." In the "name" spot, you can either put your irl name or some kind of nickname or variation of your runescape name! Please try not to use names like "Wg_Pker," caus they are quite unoriginal lol. Q: Well Glenn, what's the point of naming our accounts like that??? A: Well first off, it scares the crap out of kids when they right cick our pile and see that we are all twins. Also it makes it near impossible for any organized team to call a pile, as we are all so similar. A final reason is that if you are trying to find our pile, seeing a common name will help us refrain from accidentally attacking each other! Q: Well Glenn, where should I train? A: Some spots are chickens, cows, and later the Port Sarim jail is good for magers and rangers. Here is a guide on how to train ranged and mage. You could also train melee at all these spots if you transfer cakes or any food to your meleer! http://www.zybez.net/community/index.php?showtopic=1096029 Also, to get some free experience to start to skip this boring first levels, follow these directions. Once you reach mainland, immediately go to the dungeon north of the doomsayer marked by the (!) sign. Go down the trapdoor and talk to the knight, he will give you 2 exp lamps. Then go to the Stronghold of Safety, north of barb village to get more lamps. Q:How much will it cost for a mage or ranger? A:I would guess maybe 100k at most. Probably less! Q: What should my pure look like?!? A: Well we are going to use Mint-Green for all hair, and a black skinned base. Me and Randy decided this.  You don't HAVE to do this, but you'll blend in with our clan more! Here's an example!  Start training!!! The first raid will most likely be in one or two weeks. I'll post some training updates on forums I think. Try to get to level 20! Um before I consider this let's face it, a nooby thing but I often find it hard making money, especially as now my hours are being reduced during the week because of school + play rehearsals. How can I afford to lose twice the number of rune sets per week (I already lose 3 on the 3 raids) and now I'll lose another one?  --------------------    | ||

On a level 20 mage u can already hit like 7 or 8s, while having like 24 hp. If there's 10+ of us, that's kinda like instead ko's. Guys training won't take much time either. You'll get 20k in total, 1k exp in two lamps from the Stronghold of player safety, and the safety gloves+boots. Talk to the knight at the bottom of lumbridge, too; he gives you two lamps worth 250 exp each. -------------------- | ||

One day, hell, half a day is all you need. If you don't want to put too much work in, just get some mind runes and mage to 20 F2P. After a few hours, if that, you'll be done and ready to pk. Yes, I know its an initial investment you have to do, but please do it for WG, for me, and for fun. The cost is near nothing. -------------------- That's Mr. Glennfase to you. Ex-Warlord/Council | ||
