I haven't done it myself, but from the word of many others, its very possible to drive while high. If anything, it makes you more careful because you're paranoid about getting caught.

The only negative side effect, as with anything you smoke, is that it harms your lungs. But just the smoke. In cigs, I'm sure there are hundreds or thousands of other things that harm your lungs including smoke.

Surely there is also gang-related violence where people get killed over weed, but thats going to happen with any illegal substance. Guaranteed that there are more murders due to being drunk than their are to being high.

And honestly, you are coming to come out with 157 deaths "in the 31 metro areas?" 157 isn't much at all. You realize it takes about 7 years for that to accumulate to 1,000? And in the same 7 years, how many cigarette/alcohol related deaths will there be? I'm not looking up any sources but I'd assume at least 1,000,000. There is a difference.

Jadi, that has nothing to do with Marijuana itself. Either they crashed a car which they were driving which is the sole option of the smoker to get in that car, not Marijuana's. Not to mention do you know how incredibly unreliable google is. Google something like "Alien incounters". You'll get well over 1,000,000 hits, doesn't mean it's in ANY way true.

Secondly just because there is Marijuana "reported" in a death doesn't mean it had ANYTHING to do with it. That means some guy could of been smoking pot, and ended up getting shot somehow.

Marijuana is not *DIRECTLY* linked to any deaths, ever.

As for social interaction, it really depends on the person. If anything when I'm high i'm more likely to call my friends, it makes me more social. If you can't stand up then I'd say you have pretty good weed XD I have no problem functioning when I am high, I still do the house work, etc.

Most people don't have much of a problem, but unfortunately my cousin does.

Ever since he started smoking he is unresponsive. He doesn't do anything socially while he is high, and even when he is sober sometimes. He smokes less now and is a little better, but he still doesn't really care/do anything.

As far as addiction goes, it's really up to the person. As with pretty much all hallucinogens, pot isn't physically addictive like tobacco or cocaine. The addiction that you encounter in some is psychological, much like addiction to alcohol.

I can understand abstaining from using drugs, but to view them all as non-beneficial is misinformed.

Also, it is classified as a class 1 substance, meaning it is all harmful, no medicinal value, nothing good to it. Even many people in law enforcement think that it's too high of a classification.

My mother's mother-in-law was terminally ill. She took so many drugs, she either had no appetite or was too nauseated to eat. If I actually lived any where near her, I would have force fed her some pot brownies. It does dull pain, gives you the munchies, and has a suppressive effect on nausea.
