NH Vs Honour Time to loose some return sets biggrin.gif

My thought exactly.
Unless I return just with a scimi, you won't see me hunting rot anytime soon.

Distortion is a fine enemy, they can still pull solid numbers. Infliction can pull massive amounts too. RoT is way out of our league, aswell as RDK.

edit: Distrtion + Infliction are allies.

DI had problems dealing with RoT and they were pulling at least 3x what we are pulling now. We have a lot ahead of us, along with a need for an increase in pulls before we take this challenge on. The day I see us hunting RoT will be a really happy day... as long as I don't facepalm at our numbers.

TBH RoT is one of the richest clans (member to GP ratio) in Runescape.
It's gonna take alot of fights and alot of perseverence to bog down on RoT. And even then they are NH as fuck so they will resort to 1-iteming.

But we don't have the drive to make a rivalry with Infliction.

Well, the way I see it we can do a few different things:
1) Go in WAAAY over our heads with RoT.
2) Continue pwning Distortion time and time again.
3) Move onto Infliction.
4) Cower in fear....
OR
5) Continue Pwning Distortion AND take on Infliction too. If we can't handle both, we can't handle RoT.

Also, if you want to get more members and keep them active, I would suggest MANY more raids. Try to get just one a day to keep people coming, and through the weekend try to run 6, 3 each day.

Trust me, if you want activity in a PK clan, you need to do LOTs of pking. wink.gif

we won't be able to have good fight and compete with rot untill we get 100 members to a raid and we're just not there yet.
If anything when we get some more members we should probably start hitting f2p a bit and have a full out war just to see a full turn out.

Guys you're not getting my point.
We're not ready for RoT, but we should aim to be.

That's what the rivalry is about.
Seeing their level and rising slowly to meet it.

We can't just set our sights on people we can beat.
We won't progress.

I think we do all the your point it's that it's just such a HUGE leap.

It's like learning to write and then saying, my end goal is to write a 500 page novel. You just don't say that. Because you KNOW you'll have a lot of work to do, but you'll end up writing 150 pages and be like "damn, not even close." It'll be demoralizing, even though we'd be improving it wouldn't feel like it. We'd start pulling 60 to a raid but still not be "there" yet and thus would still feel inadequate.

If we set our sights on Infliction, then when we start pulling 40-50 consistently we can feel proud then move on to something else. Work towards RDK (hopefully by that point they'll have lost all their mass recruited members). Then once we're able to handle RDK we work towards RoT.

With something as important as this, we NEED in between goals like Infliction and RDK to keep us motivated to GET TO RoT standards. Or else we'll pull 70 to a raid and not be able to compete and feel like shit because we'd STILL not be able to take on RoT after improving SO much.

None of us are saying that we should strive to get there, but that we shouldn't make that our goal at this time.

I think I understand what your saying lordy.

Your saying we should AIM to be able to destroy ROT but in the time we will focus on destroying everyone else?

I think Gene is right. I know very little about clan world, but if I wanted a rl promotion I'd be planning it months in advance.

We had some smaller clan come in irc last night looking for an uncapped pkri with us. They had one member lvl 114 and probably a rich pure. The rest were over 120. Their ml was around 40 people. I think get us this for an allie. Then ROT would be more obtainable to us.

Our allies are a bit on the weak side possibly. I'm not to good a judge for this.

I'm not entirely sure why people want rivalries on the way to getting back on par with RoT. The entire reason we have rivalries is because people act really scummy towards us, not because we want a fight. If we want to fight any of those other clans, it's easy enough to find them on raids without meaningless hate mongering.

Man, that's aiming high. Nothing wrong with aiming high, but it'll take us a while to get there.

RoT not only pull good opts, but they can return. And they can afford to because they pk 24/7. Unless they welfare? I'm not sure, havent heard about them for ages.
