I'm not saying type "WG omgthisisaverylongname". But just a general "WG <First three letters>" That can easily pinpoint who we are attacking for anyone (usually anyway). And that only takes under 1 second to type, i'm sure people can find the time to do that, it isn't impossible, just a call here and there.

There's an easier way actually. We can use the quickchat spam of "Our pile is here!". That, once you find it and say it once, you can just hit F11 and it says it again. Once the pile is called in TS3, that's all we need.

you are clearly missing the point reece clearly said earlier.

Saying the username makes is clear to people who to pile.

if there are 3-4 people on the one spot, and everyone is just saying 'the pile is here!" there is no use

Well if all of WG are in the WG cape, then the person looking for the pile can easily left-click the pile and they'll attack whoever's not in our team cape. But still, the pile should be called in TS3 so we know the name or level of who we're attacking.

When there is a 2-3 second window of opportunity, it starts to get tedious. Hitting F11 once is much easier, and more people will do it.

You're still entirely missing the point Keanu, well not entirely, but yeah. Although i am liking that fact that you are atleast showing input to this topic.

It still comes back to TS.. i can't use TS due to college internet restrictions crashing my runescape when running both TS and RS at the same time which as of so far, seems impossible to fix up. And i'm other people might have reasons why they can't use TS. I can function quite fine without TS though, i went years without it with success, all it takes is a brief call of FI or Wg on <name> and i'm all set.

It's the same as raids, world switches are announced in TS but not in game, which leaves me stumped on where to switch to which is bloody annoying by the way, even if everyone is in TS it is still nice to be said ingame incase someone had their audio down for a split second or was away from the keyboard. All these little things matter.

What i'm trying to say might seem misleading, in no way am i saying TS is useless, it is great that it is now utilised efficiently within WG, but in order for full organisation, which is managed smoothly, Ingame chat has to be utilised as well and not left in the dust, visual aid has to be provided more often with the audio aid that obviously already exists.

I didn't even realise that you could F11 these days... which is kind of sad considering i was calling more and actually including names into my calls without the use of F11. I give the benefit of the doubt to the binders ofcourse.

There's nothing wrong with calling full spams like "wg x", as I said in a topic in the Gallery forum. However, when every meleer is forced to bind, their fighting pattern is so compact they simply cannot or do not want to.

When I was in TS and we had a fight, when I got killed and was out, I'd go onto the viewing orb and ask everyone to set me as their caller. Then for the rest of the duration of the fight I would spam the pile and location in the CC. Maybe if we got one or two people dedicated to doing this who could just melee, it would help to an extent.

But in my eyes, it's a choice: melee and bind, or melee and spam.

Is it much use having that many binders with such a small group though? If every meleer is forced to bind... then whose meleeing? No one, with a group of 20 people there should only be 2-4 binders in my eyes, any more then that then there is no damage output and too many competing for a bind. People with 99 mage would be the only useful people binding anyway.

The viewing orb is fine with calling on TS and both CC and is a great idea but with returning fights the idea gets nulled.

I agree with that. Every melee'er should not be forced to bind.

Before the start of the war, tell all the melee'ers to one side in a separate fall-in. From that fall-in, ask everyone with 95+ mage to step out, and then get druidic robes and binds. If there are none or too few, ask the 90+ mages to join, and then the 80+ mages if need be and so on. ~5 people dedicated to melee/binding is easily enough for the pulls we get and the fights we should be aiming for at the moment.

Then make sure the remaining melee'ers spam to hell.

Solves part of my dilemma that i noticed, all it takes is proper implementation now to the raiding/warring system.

If I get Council I'll be making a fair few changes/modifications/updates to our PvP aspects. This would be one of the first priorities, as long as I have everyone's support and agreement.

A lot of p2p clans use in game calling, piles are normally just a transition to the closest person and they all spam. I've seen RDK and TBC do it. TRWF has to spam 4 letters so spamming 2 shouldn't be all that difficult.

I just don't know what the deal is these days, i personally haven't been to enough wars or watched enough war videos lately to know how they function but either people are just bulk lazy when it comes to calling now or just spamming nothing is more efficient (No sarcasm intended).

This isn't an attack at wg because i also saw forsaken just go "fffffffffffffffffff" on their piles, but yeah, i just don't see in anyway it is more efficient to the old "wg <name>@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@" ofcourse the benefit of the doubt goes to the binders yet again.

we all did the typing a few years ago.

So they develop an easy auto typing system with phrases and suddenly now its too hard?

suck it up princess. the time wasting typing piles save us time wasted transitioning.

unless our leaders get perfect enough to call perfectly on teamspeak, this is what we should do

Look at the clan Forsaken. I did not expect to beat them. We're nowhere near that level of skill, experience and numbers. I was thinking we try and find a clan to war with similar or lower experience and skill compared to us, and have us beat them, then progress upwards (And trust me, I know several) as if we were a new clan starting out. I'd personally rather prefer us to try and do that than tell our members "DO THIS DO THAT PRACTICE THIS TANK THAT HUG THIS BIND THAT FASTER BETTER" and then after some cwa practices throw us out again with a Forsaken-style clan.

Opinions on that?

With a Forsaken style clan?
Why not the same clan in general.

We could beat them if everyone was on their A game.
