Good luck Josh. -------------------- ![]() Thank you Garrett and Dallar. “The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. The initial 30 pounds went in 3 months, I was very satisfied and thought it went well. Another 10 or so pounds dropped in another 2 months (leaving me at 160, normal weight for my height/age I guess). At this point there was still a little fat around my abs chest and legs, and I finally hit a plateau, one that I think I'm still stuck at, 13 months after I started working out. Combined with lifting weights and protein shakes nd stuff I'm now at 165 pounds about 13 months later. I know it has to be a good portion of muscle for the length of time I've been lifting, but I can't get rid of the stubborn fat that still hangs around! Don't get me wrong I feel great, much better than I did before, but this is frustrating because I've worked so hard towards a 6 pack, any skinny fuck who did the same thing as me would be looking ripped by now ![]() If you decide to take a day off of working out, be cautious to workout the following day! Two days off is never a good thing for either of the following reasons: 1) If you're struggling with working out, you might get comfortable taking days off until it snowballs. Eventually you'll stop working out altogether. Happened to me a few times 2) If you do end up working out on day 3, chances are you won't be able to push yourself to your full potential. I'm no expert but to me it feels like my body just isn't used to working out if I take a 2 day break. But anyways, good luck and don't get discouraged. Its easy to get bored with it, or frustrated because your results aren't coming as quickly as you liked. But in my experience, it is extremely easy to drop a lot of fat very quickly, its just the plateau that gets to me. -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

You kept up the routine? ![]() A lot of weight loss is in the diet. There's loads of great ideas all over the internet. Best simple bet it to stick to natural foods, and don't have too much starchy stuff -------------------- ~Aetas: carpe diem quam minimum credula postero~ "Seize the day and place no trust in tomorrow" ![]() |

Eat a balanced diet, No binging nor dieting, you do not want to go there. 2. 5km jogs 3 times a week, as well as some static exercises after the jog, you'll be on a runners high and wont even feel the extra work. 3. NO EATING MEALS/FOOD 4 hours before you sleep that means dunt munch on em bags of crisps whilst at the computer.!!!! << thats a killer, trust me i know. 4. CUT OUT SUGARY DRINKS thats half the battle won there if you have to, diet coke works wonders --------Simple guide, do not attempt anything too difficult----------------------- - certified basic exercise ourse, Personal Fitness Trainer course instructor -------------------- My Time Zone is Singapore GMT +8.
