Tbh, it sounds too good to be true, if you get me, nobody was aware about this mission then all of a sudden he's dead?.. seems too suspicious.

Well there are definitely reasons as to why people didn't know about it. If people knew about it, then he would have moved from his safehouse.

Is this a joke?

Please tell me this is a joke.

Use common sense. If people knew, any supporters or sympathizers would tell him so he could flee.

People wondering why it took so long if they knew where he was months ago need to just apply SOME thought.

You don't just run into ANY situation willy nilly, especially when lives are on the line. You make damn well sure that you're right. That alone should be reason enough, but seeing as we're not at war with Pakistan, if that had just been some rich Pakistani person's house, that would be terrible.

I'm glad he's dead. Don't think partying in the street was the best way to go about "celebrating" it, since it's definitely not in good taste, and will only anger the people that supported Osama, but hey, what's done is done.

It's definitely not a game changer because there are so many supporters, but it's definitely good to know he's gone.

Seriously though David, why should we not celebrate?
The terrorist in the this world love photo op's of burning American flags and beheading people who don't believe as they do.
About time we had one thing to smile about here.

The difference is that he is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians worldwide.
And as others are saying, this is a celebration not about the death of one man but rather the symbolic meaning on what it stands for.
Justice, freedom, and safety. The world is a better place now that he's gone.

Please don't get me wrong any life spent in hatred and killing of others is wrong, staining your hands with the blood of innocent people, is tragic.
It is a choice he made on how to live his life a long time ago, I can only be thankful his terrible hold on the lives of my people is over.

I don't find it justice when you kill someone without given them a fair trial. Even those who have killed thousands. Hitler would've got one and so should've Bin Laden. I would rather let him rott alone in a cell for years, rather then let him just get shot and 'die'.

"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that" — Martin Luther King Jr.

Thats just how i feel.

I understand completely how you feel, but the fact is bin Laden was given the opportunity to surrender and resisted with gunfire.
He was in charge of his own fate (even though we all know he was going to be put to death regardless).

Glad he was gotten. Sucks it took this long tho. So much money and so many lives have been dumped in the process of our placement in the middle east...

He was living with his family, two brothers and a son as Guards or w/e you want to call it. And one of his 4 (i believe) current wives. Which he used as a human shield.

Ok, so let me get the straight. He gets shot...and then dies..and then is buried at sea?? I smell something fishy..and its not bin laden with the fishies.

I understand there religion states that they are required to be buried within 24 hours..but does this man really deserve such treatment? Killing thousands of people...and hs pretty much got away with it..nice skills. Thought that the american special forces were good? Ever tried shooting him in the arms and legs...tend to die less.

Someone i know said that its part of his cultures tradition (for the burying in the sea)

Plus people might search for his body if they know that they still have it.
