Ive left/rejoined more then anyone here even knows or remembers hell i dont even remember. Just let him in honestly he did good in this clan hes not a bad person. I know lots of you hate him but ive been through what he will soon. Rejoining a clan filled with people that hate you. Just let him in and stop being such a tight ass about it. If you dont personally like him then so be it. I left in the heat of the moment, to me WG was going through the same thing that some of my old clans went through. I know i made a mistake by leaving and i am not scared to admit that i have. In the past i have been flamed many times for what i believe and some of it got to me also. My leaving post was made up of some points that i never thought would happen to me, such as bias and power abuse.  IRC Nickname: rachellove Group: Council Posts: 6955 Member No.: 173 Joined: January 31, 2008 Total Events Attended: 305 | Yes the vote of the general clan was to keep you Simon and it wasn't until about an hour before the final time that one of the staff decided to call a special meeting and this person said in irc that he had trusted the clan to do the right thing. He disagreed with our decision. Then it was was moved to lvl 3. I disagreed with this and got threatened. I fully support that the clan can make wise decisions and did just that on this issue. Simon should be allowed to join now. Staff had their chance before putting it to a vote with us. We weren't the ones posting the poll. We only did what was asked of us by voting yes or no and stating what our opinion was on the issue. Freedom of choice and speech yet again is disreguarded. I'm not the only one that feels this way. But fear of being warned or a lvl of warning that can not be appealed will keep alot of people from speaking out. Despite what I've said against you Simon, and how I'm very unsure about whether or not you should be allowed in based on your past, I have to agree that what had happened with the vote was wrong, unfair, and quite honestly insulting. We were asked simply to vote, yes or no (a vote I nulled by the way) on the matter. When we, the clan made our choice it was simply tossed to the side because we didn't make the "right choice"? This really makes me think about the rights we have in this clan, or at least think we have. We make a decision as a clan by a majority vote, and because some higher ups may not agree it's tossed to the side and given special meeting? I know we voted them into the position they're in, but the minute that poll was placed and we were asked, they had basically given us the responsibility on determining the final outcome, and when it wasn't what some wanted, they took back the reigns. Regardless of the final outcome, even if it's positive there never should have been a special meeting. Our votes should have been valued the first time through. Simon, as much as it may seem I want you out, that isn't true. I'd be willing to have you back, but I think you just need to go beyond what's being asked of you in this application, and in your actions to prove that you're not faking this. Make us believe this time it's different and I think some will be more inclined to welcome you with open arms. --------------------   | ||
