But i also disagree with what you say because I believe that one of the main reasons for showing up to wars was "making money" ALL ALONG! Back in the winter of 2006-2007 , pking was taken out and was replaced with an awful replacement called "bounty hunter", no more drops could be found on the ground after making an Oh so awesome kill in the wilderness... Pking became non-profitable, and tons of people stopped pking. Maybe people have been going to wars for money all along. And with wildy drops out of the question, attendance decreased, not too mention we lost alot members from that update, because around 60,000 players quit RS all together. Honestly, I think if there was no wildy in Runescape from when it was released in 2001, attendance would still be around the same it is now.
