 IRC Nickname: Aardvark Group: Banned Posts: 759 Member No.: 322 Joined: March 13, 2008 Total Events Attended: 175 | I was KO'ed as well and I normally perform quite well at wars, yes KO's were a major problem and also people not binding enough, there were a few other problems as well that I noticed such as bad location calls that sent us running to an area where no one was at also calls that said like "get so and so that was over by the last guy" need better calls than that, also in wars when we start losing Ive always noticed that people just seem to give up while only a few stay strong to the end, leaders and members, the location calls have to be constant and clear in order to keep us all together and organized. It also seemed that people on RT when attacked always ran to thier main pile where we were hit alot by thier pile, it was a cluster fuck (mind my French) most of the time. Wow amazing video Mike, even tho it was fast forward RT's binding was epic our people could barely move, and the KO's were incredibly fast. I dont think I saw any RT wearing rune except for maybe one or 2 the whole time. All of them were in bind robes. I was able to get my prayer and rune on but I think i double clicked on the legs and didnt realize i had put my druidic legs back on, and failed.  --------------------    | ||||||||||

The beginning of the war is essential to the turnout at the end. You should be able to get alot of constant KO's through swift pile switches. We got a great first KO but then we lost that momentum. The call was "Get on <name> south west" About 20 of us ran SW to find no one there. correct location calling is vital. Correct calling is also needed. Like Mark said, saying "Get this guy who was close to the guy we last killed" is just not efficient enough. I know you guys are Trials for a reason and with each war gain great experience so this issue is not a big deal. I know pile switches are key to getting some KO's but we can't do it all the time. Fall Ins are necessary to keep up organization and momentum. Binding - At about the 30 man mark, we had killed off all their snipers and there were still people in rune. If the target has just come off his bind and someone is hitting you, it is best to stick your pray on and bind, not put your rune on and let the pile target get away. You use up your food alot quicker than your pray (especially if you have ancient mace spec) unless you got sniped like hell. For me, it was a combination of a lack of recent practice, a touchpad, and they're binding. I know I was sniping and didn't do a very good job of it, but things like assigning snipers when previous snipers are piled would make the job alot easier. I think when I was piled there were only 2 random hybrid snipers left, everyone time I tried to snipe they would have a decent anti-snipe and in turn lead to me getting piled. It wasn't a bad war, they just had slightly better organisation and tanking, and better pile transactions. --------------------  | ||||||||||
