Best fights for me are still Archimonde and Kael'thas. I actually liked Felmyst too except for the 3 members of our raid who disconnected every breath phase.

I hit 80 wednesday. so far I've done about half the heroics, VoA 10 and 25 man(basically solo healed 10 man, did over 70% of the healing even on Emalon), Naxx 10 and 25(both firsts for me, also got the Heroic key to the focusing iris, so 25 Maly is coming up soon) and we're doing Sarth 10/25 later. I might be Champion of the Frozen Wastes less than a week after hitting 80 lol.

I got geared crazy fast these last 2 days in Naxx too. I got 5 25 man and 3 10 man pieces, as well as a few heroic epics and some badge items. I'll have superior later today, and I'm well on my way to epic.

Also I started that naxx 25 last night in all blues and about 5-6 epics. I ended with 12 epics(after spending badges too) and came in 2nd place healing against the entire guild, lost to a holy priest. Good fight.

fuck u pve noobs

i still pvp mostly. my guild doesnt let me raid as ret, so pve is "meh" to me....

arena teams still going strong. almost hit 2k 3's, started to slump once we hit 1970. should have hit 2300 in 2's. on our 9th game i fucked up badly, tried to pull off some risky shit and it didnt work

but i definitely redeemed myself the match after that lol, soloed warrior (at 100%) and druid (at 100%, 30% mana). it was epic, druid got so cocky and the warrior got worked badly. these past 2 weeks we've only been playing the bare minimum. trying to gear up asap as easiest as possible, not really caring about rating atm (we'll worry about that later in the season lol). and 5's are w/e, it's hard to get everyone online for em

Ret is actually second lowest pve dps currently.

As for your 2s, you can double dps up to 2k with any combo, it doesn't really matter. Spicey's combo sorta works well but not all comps do. I played Ret/Shadow up to 2.1k mmr and stopped for a while. As a mage, you can play with a Ret, Priest, Rogue, i've even seen them play with destro locks.

You could also look for a good pmr for 3s. Maybe eurocomp for 3s?

There's a few things you can play for 2s and each have their advantages and disadvantages.

Mage / Rogue - Most popular comps for 2s as a mage. You're looking for kills inside of a Poly > Blind CC chain. Both of you can reset fairly easily. Druid teams can still be a bitch.

Mage / Priest - Only healer that will work on 2s with you. Your disc needs to play offensive, you won't get a kill by yourself.

Mage / Lock or Boomkin - They hinge on the same things, CC chains on the enemy HEALER (you don't have the stuns to kill the healer). Fun comp to play, druids counter it badly.

I have'nt seen a Mage / Ret since BC. Moch could probably help you there.

Those are the ones I'm familiar with. RMP is probably the most popular 3s comp. Pretty easy once you get the hang of fast target switches.

yeah match making is pretty easy to get up, our's is sitting around at 2.4k/2.5k-ish

so yea is there a time record for getting Champion of the Frozen Wastes? cuz I'm getting it tonight, and I hit 80 6 days ago.

Did all the heroics cept DTK(would've had that yesterday for the daily but I had to leave in the middle of it >_>) and all the raids except Malygos(tonight after Ulduar10). so woot for me.
