Depends on the person I guess. I loved prom and a lot of my friends did too (and we were just the average crowd; not jocks etc..). It also depends where you are I guess too. I live 30 minutes from the Quebec part of Canada and there the drinking age is 18 so a lot of people were 18 by the time prom came around so it was fun. Although I'd imagine if it's in the States with no alcohol then it would be kinda lame

Senior prom for me consisted of:
- boring

After prom party consisted of:
- immense amounts of alcohol
- immense amounts of fun
- numerous stories

College parties are the shit though. Depends on what you like. I personally dislike frat parties because you get little to no alcohol, which means you've got to pregame which just sucks. Plus you really don't know anyone there.

If however you've got a group a friends then you can have kickbacks, which are more fun, and more hilarious. You know everyone you're with and it's just a better experience.

In any case, prom is always overhyped and just not that big a deal (for guys mainly).

Easily over a thousand people on any given Friday or Saturday at my school.

But I'm not gonna justify going to frat parties. I did a lot my first year, I haven't been to one at all this semester, been going to better, smaller parties. Way crazier too, more boobs and such.

However, frat parties can be fun just for the size factor, being at a party with over 300 people there is quite a different experience.

But yeah, trending the point that college parties are dope.

Gibble, I believe you go to UVA? I got waitlisted there, but went on the waitlist. Never visited though, so probably going down in a week. Care to chat sometime (hopefully this weekend) or in PM about how it is?

And my prom's on June 3rd (about), so I still have time. Lots of people already rented shore houses, too far in advance, believe its too late, and its a huge pain in the ***.
