I wasnt trying to troll and there is no way to say what i said without it sounding negative.

But at the end of the day, we are a clan with the aim to be the best at warring.

We are a warring clan.

So we are going to have to start pulling numbers like we do when Lordy preps up wars, and everybody has to work hard, train, practice and devote themselves fully to the clan.

Members not reading important topics. When I come onto the forums, IA is at the top and I'll look at the last post info and at these:

user posted imageuser posted image

If it's not 'lit' and the last post is on a topic I've already read/replied to, I assume that there's nothing I need to prioritize in the forum (Unless I'm in one of my nostalgic moods and decide to go mooching through the entire forum again). Usually we put our IA topics in the news feed, but since that's scrolling, it takes a good few seconds to reach the topics list, by which time most of us are halfway down the board. I wouldn't suggest expanding it cause the tabs and the banner are taking up half a screen already. Maybe something more eye-catching, like animation rather than just scrolling text would help.

Poor responses to topics. I like Gene's personification of the negativity "eating away" at the community. I agree, it's degrading. I'm gonna bring up immaturity first. We often talk about what we call the "atmosphere" of the clan, but we never think too much about it itself. It's what gives us the feelings we get when we come onto the forums or the IRC or the cc. A clan's atmposphere should have a pleasant effect on a person - to make them enjoy being a member and being a part of it, having a good time. And when someone feels like that, they want to keep up that atmosphere and they subconsciously respond and interact appropriately.

We don't exactly have that right now. If I go into the IRC and half the discussion is:
[00:00] <Member_X> no u
Or that as every other reply on the forums, that's degrading. Being relaxed is fine, but there's a point where it gets to an immature level. It's taking away all sense of responsibility and maturity, and people will follow suite and post one-liners to topics and forget about mature discussion, because they're getting the idea that that's what WG is - a clan where we don't take anything seriously. And that leads to us not caring about the welfare of the clan itself. In comes the trolling and flaming. I remember in the great announcement where Gene addressed this, with the words "This mentality is contagious". And it'll spread to every aspect of the clan.

Warn levels, always been clear to me.

I was binding during the BK war. As soon as I got my robes out, I got sniped. Not sure if it was because I was the only one actually in robes or if they just had epic snipers. As for FoG gear, I have it all, just my shield was uncharged. Maybe a few FoG events could help some of our newer members. FoG items have skyrocketed so it costs more than a return set to get it all. As for people not listening, I suppose it's just down to more practice.

As i can see by these posts everyone agrees that attendance and signing up in this clan can really be pushed to a new level. With this we can hopefully push the clan in the wilderness if on raids or wars to possibly where we used to be with a 200 memberlist and complete domination. I agree that we have had some laid back attitudes in WG lately and especially in some of the new members they need to get to the events or atleast post if you couldnt make it especially at Wars.

Thankyou~

Read everything
forgot to recharge rune beserker before for bk war and someone said not to bring on 20% so i've recharged that and got runecrafter robes spare for if fog runs low and am buying a spare shield.

I think everyone even with range should bind, I saw a number of BK member in bind robes with a bow, the quicker strike of the bow should mean faster binds. I will be bringing binds to all wars from now on.

Read it and agree with it. The post is stressing the importance of being active and keeping a good attitude. I hope things turn for the better and the warn levels/% will not be necessary. Although I got accepted to the clan the day of the BK war i did not attend because I had to work.

Hi justin if i didnt reply in time im sorry i just got the internet turned on at my new house. I have read and agree to everything you said. This post is to let everyone know that everyone needs to put more effort into the clan, raids, wars, events, and the forums. It also explains what will happen if you are not active and are not paying attention to the forums and events. It also explained what everyone needs to get item wise and work on for wars. BINDS are the key to victory.

HEY GUYS, BEING a new member to WG, I am not fully aware of what has gone on in the past, and i have been reading other posts trying to get history on that, but from what i can see, compared to other clans, the activity is actually pretty high with wg, i noticed that from the begining, i haven't been to every raid/war, but i have been to alot of them and i have seen good numbers, not counting the last impromptu raid with keanu where only 7 people showed up lol, anyways this topic summarry, about non active clan members not doing as they should and posting an inactivity post, and getting off the active list, and about active members not being active enough, and other issues addressed were, disrespect amongst other clan members (flaming) (hating) (bullying) which i haven't really seen alot of, i think its something that goes on behind the scene's which is better that way, so that its not in the open where everyone can see it, and the last i remember from reading was about not signing up at all for mandatory war's, which i think i did that one time, but i was afk for 3 days out of town, and forgot to post before i left, which i know is no excuse and i do appolagize for it, and i will try my best to be to every raid/war from now on.

okay i've read the post and agree on a number of the issues
I for one check the forums every time i play runescape as it is now jus a regular occurance for me, although i may not always post when im on but i do look at the topics (and i mean almost all new topics)
another thing i think should be delt with siverly is the bullying point, i dont even think a warm level should be givin i think if the person is clearly bullying another then that person should be kicked out of the clan as in face to face terms i wouldnt accept this and online should be the same
good job too the management for cracking down on these issues smile.gif

-mandatory activity checks will be increased
-attitude has not always been positive
-sign ups are mandatory either a yes or a no
-warn levels for not signing up as yes or not
-we have team combat flaws, which are receiving greater notice--good
-fog gear was mandatory at one time and I thought it still was but apparently not everyone had it or used it. At wars, I know that if you were one of those binding you usually got smacked and a similar event happened at a number of raids I was on. TBH it really did not encourage me to bring Mage but maybe things will change and hopefully, someday I will actually reach adequate with combat magics.
No I was not at the War and as you can see I have my PC running again but sill no IRC. Also, as a reminder there is a song where one of the lines is schools out for the summer...schools out forever... Well, for me schools out forever but the downside is I have to work for a living and there is not summer vacation. So, I work during the week and travel. On the week ends, I try to catch up on the stuff I was not home to do but I do try to get on RS--if for no other reason because I need a break and I honestly enjoy attending events with you guys when I can.

I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS POST IS VALID B/C FORUMS TIMES LOOK FUNNY

[dl]
[dt]Fog Gear[/dt]
[dd]I DEFININELY agree on this point, although I wasn't quite prepped for the war with BK because of school, I still know from purchasing afterward, that you can get all of the druidic pieces and rune berserker/gaunts relatively cheap (under 1m) and charge for a good 30 mins of hardcore fog, so all members SHOULD have required fog gear.[/dd]
[dt]Binds[/dt]
[dd] R U SRS? Binds are unbelievably cheap, that's why its the only F2P one, and bringing them to wars takes 30 seconds, if that.[/dd]
[dt]People Not Listening[/dt]
[dd]UNACCEPTABLE, if you're having a problem with this, mute everyone in TS3 before a war except for callers, and deal out punishments afterward for people who did not listen to calls.[/dd]
[dt]Attitude[/dt]
[dd]"if myself or any of the staff members see this or hear of this it will not be dealt with lightly." NUFF SAID[/dd]
[/dl]

^that should have worked, forums be gay.

Agreed with most of the things you've written about. Some are a bit harsh, but that's necessary for getting some chance inhere.

I've led a clan for 3years myself and I know what's it about when people don't respect and care about the things that go on in the clan they applied for. I mean, when you join a clan, you should do your part for it, even if it's a game. Yes, we all play it to have fun, but some hard measures must be taken to get success which gives you the deserved fun-factor in the end.
I do what I can, to be a good member in WG, and I'll go on doing that, even more now.

WG till the end mates.

Its not like I don't read important topics I just rarely post on the forums. But as I've shown I do read the Events forum and other forums. I won't post on a thread if its not a worthy post. We do need to do better in wars and it is not hard to plain buy FOG gear on the GE so you don't have to do as much FOG to charge it(yea I have full FOG charged gear). I was not at the BK war but tbh I was highly highly Inactive for at least 2 weeks but as some have possibly noticed I am not inactive anymore smile.gif.

Final Note, Like I said I rarely will post a lot on the forums but I will rarely not Respond on IRC and TS but Just cause I don't post on the forums don't mean I don't read them ^^

THIS MUST BE READ FROM START TO FINISH

There are quite a few issues that I feel need to be addressed

First of all this post is an activity check, each and every one of you are expected to respond to this topic summarizing what is said in this post, I will personally be going through and checking the responses and I will not count any posts that clearly show that what is being said has not sunk in. You have 3 days from the time this is posted to respond otherwise you will be issued with a warn level.

The reason behind this is that its becoming more and more clear to all staff members that members are not reading important topics and when they do they aren't reading it properly giving poor responses if any at all when expected to to respond.

There is no excuse (unless you have an inactivity topic) for you to not check the forums and look at and respond to important topics every two days if not more regularly. It is honestly not that hard and only takes about 10 minutes.

Whilst on this topic Rachel a

I read it all well written Justin. Im looking foward to getting active again. (the days are numbered)
