I win this round! biggrin.gif

It's been about 4 days since the posting of the riddle, so here goes:

The knight simply chooses either hand, quickly grabs the paper, and swallows it. Then he says "I've accepted my fate, show me the other card". By order of elimination, the knight "chose" the marriage card. Furthermore, if the queen should speak up, she will be self-incriminating herself.

how does the crowd know he chose death? idk im confussed

because both cards have snake on them, that means he has to die, everyone thinks one has snakes and the other marrage, so if he eats one and the other is snakes, theoreticaly, the one he ate must be marrage.

I hope Jaxx got it with King David. I see how he did it, pretty good.

The snake pit riddle was a little cheesy. Eating it? Come on...

yes, he was right about that

also, it didnt necesarily mean he had 2 eat it, he coulda just thrown it away ect.

sorry about the really long wait, ive been really busy lately, here goes:

another king related one:

an elderly king knew that he would pass on soon, and he needed to name an heir. He also wanted the wisest one to inherit his kingdom. So, he took both of his sons to the royal stable one day and made a challenge. He gave each son a horse and said that whoever's horse reached the castle LAST would inherit the kingdom. The younger son quickly jumped on a horse and galloped off as quickly as he could and the king knew right then and there, that he would become the new king.

why?

steven, a truck driver, was going the wrong way up a one way street. halfway across he saw a police officer. He waved to the officer and the officer waved back, but didn't give steven a ticket. Steven and the officer had never met before.

why didn't the officer give steven a ticket?

Umm...taste?

Everything else seem to point to what you can do or experience in a toilet or bathroom. Taste seems like the misfit of the lot, can't relate to what can be tasted normally in the scenario the rest fitted to.
