Tell us about your RS history, and also about your account (e.g. how you came to name it how it is named, what you like to do etc) : sgtswordfish was born on january 7th, 2008. it was to become my main contact to my friends who played runescape after we left high school and headed towards our high education career. i was a noob for much until june when i decided i wanted to become more combat oriented. i trained in the arts of meele and learned to combat mages and ranges alike in multiple combat situations. my strengths have been a strong tanking offensive. i have a high defence with avg attack and strength with one major weakness, i have to get to my enemy close enough to do any serious damage. as i became stronger i reached lvl 90 combat and joined a clan called zdzira. thru zdzira i learned to be more skilled at combat and to tolerate long training sessions. currently i'm working on my meele and i have a gp goal of 1 billion...100m by the end of this year. 2. Tell us more about yourself (Your age, where you are from, gender, Hobbies, Music, What you dislike/like): my name is sgtswordfish, my age is 101 (i use my rs name and year mostly to hide my identity and to separate runescape from real life. hint: devils advocate) i'm from the usa. est time, my gender is male. my hobbies are music, sports, and i'm technical with everything except nukes and the human body. (can dissect a live frog but the thought of a surgery on a human being petrifies me.) i have a nack for debate and a live advocate for conservation and innovation. i play 2 instruments, the viola and drums, learning piano and guitar. favorite sport is soccer although i'm very active at football and my height ownz at basketbal. i'm very organized and like to plan things ahead. my main strengths are persistence, my main weakness has always been humility(apparently when people are wrong criticism is the worse policy). i like to be challenge and do the very best i can. i'm very laid back and more of a listener unless you catch me on an argument. i'm at crossroads thanks to the economy and now working to provide a future for those i care most and those yet to come. 3. How did you hear about WG and what makes you want to join the clan: (Your response here) i heard about wilderness guardians when i first joined runescape but the requirements kept me from joining since i was lvl 3 and i forgot as i progressed. later i searched for a clan and again i found this one but my combat lvl was too low. i hadn't contacted any of the wilderness guardians members at the time so i drifted to another clan. zdzira is the name of the clan i joined and although i spent many days i dislike the clan due to its lack of value to its members. eventually i was let go from the clan and during my time of solitude someone came on zdzira irc by the name of auburn|matt. he was an ex-member of zdzira and asked me questions and told me his story in zdzira before he left it. in his view zdzira was the same back then and since i was new to the clan community he explained that it was too soon to see myself as the one at fault. thus he felt it was necesary for me to coordinate my values into a clan that would not only challenge me to the fullest but provide for me the satisfaction of being past of a team instead of a tool that was used whenever you where needed. i cannot lie he offered another clan but again the requirements where too high for me. later he introduced me to one of the members of wilderness guardians whom i cannot recall from memory. after a quick chat i spent a week researching as much as i could from personal to published accounts. i witnessed much informationnb in a week and thought about the clan and what purpose would it play on my runescape career. although it is too soon to learn what purpose it is i'm confident i'll find something worth striving for. thus i'm here. 4. Are there any current WG members who you already know: i just recently made contact thru irc. given time i will learn to know the members but currently i know not one . 5. Any additional comments: you're probably curious to know why i was let go from my previous clan. zdzira has a reputation of having an inactive leader. although this has been accepted by most members there would be trouble whenever he wanted to exert his authority among the members. mostly because it was an issue of respect towards high officers whom rarely where on. i thus never applied to become an officer because i knew i would be bossed around and would become hated by the very friends i cared most. in any case, i asked a question that triggered a series of debates that caused a huge turmoil and it was deemed necesary for me to be let go or in my case. permanently banned. the question i asked was. "why would you want to be an officer under sparky?" --------------------  Goals 2011  |
