How to Prepare

In a war that takes part in the Clan Wars Arena most of the time it will be the same type of gear over and over again. So here are some pictures of what gear you may use.

There can always be some alteration to the armor that you use to increase bonuses in areas that you are weak in.

Now that armor is down your going to need to supply yourself with a strong inventory to last during the war.

As you saw up there those are normally what you carry during wars depending on your gear.

Fog Gear: The fog minigame in which you are the hunter and the hunted. This minigame is mostly done for 3 things.

1. The Rune berserker shield which is stronger then a rune kite and is useful for wars.
2. Rune gauntlents which is the best gloves in F2P
3. THe lowest lv of robes which has better bonus then the normal blue robes commonly used.

In total all these cost tokens. Also take a note that all these items also degenerate. But once degenerated the cost to repair them is much lower then the buy cost. Also to save yourself time you can buy the degenerated versions of all these items and just get enough tokens to repair them instead of buying brand new ones.

Swordfish & Anchovy Pizzas: From the old wilderness to modern day this combination of food is what fuels our war force every day in the F2P war zone. The combination of 1 fast click food and high healing food.

A hint when eating Anchovy Pizzas make sure the top of your inventory is full so when you click on the pizza it wont move to the top of your invent. Also if you click on a pizza 5 times quickly you will eat the whole thing in what seems one turn.

Bind Runes: Basic Bind runes are Nature runes Earth runes and Water runes. Just bring your entire bank worth in them for you never know how much you will use. Keep them on the bottom of your inventory since you wont be really clicking on them.

Strength Pot: A 4 dose strength pot can change the tide from dragging to a ko.

Fire Staff: Best bonus of all staffs. Put this on while being piled to reduce Ko's.

Green Dragon Hide Body: This is just for tanking purposes. When your not being piled equip this to reduce binds.

Fighter Boots: These are easily obtained by going into the stronghold security minigame. In the last level you will be able to choose from colorful boots or fighter boots (no bonus difference).

The fight

Massing

Mass spots are usually held at Bounty Hunter Bank w20. We mass there then walk to Clan Wars Arena and either hopping or waiting for the opponent usually making some sort of formation.

The Charge

If Attacking we will usually fall in on the leader drink a dose of str pot then walk by the defending pile. While we are walking by it the leader will command you to get a click of their options so we know who we are to be piling first. Once the leader says to go click on the attack or bind him and charge.

If Defending we will either be in Death Dot or Death Dance waiting for the enemy to charge. WHile they walk by we will get a click on their pile and choose one of them to attack when they charge in. Once attacked make sure your ready to tank for you may be the pile and if you are not the pile attack the target.

Attacking

When attacking you must follow these steps:

1. Attack target
2. Switch to Bind robes If at all attacked switch to rune and melee pray on
3. Continue Attacking
4. Count to 3 then Re bind
5. Continue till kill
6. Fall in on leader and rinse and repeat

Tanking(Defending)

When tanking a pile you must remain calm and alert.

1. Switch to rune if in robes (equip staff too)
2. Pray Melee On
3. Hug a wall*
4. Once hugged put on green dragon body
5. Drag and hug untill binded
6. Once binded if about to be attacked put rune back on
7. 5 click pizzas starting from the bottom
8. Continue till death or end of war

*To hug is to get the pile that is chasing you stuck by running around a corner of a wall so they get stuck on the other end

This has been my F2P Warring Guide I hope you have found this useful and informative enjoy smile.gif

Good except...fighter boots are generally frowned upon unless you are a sniper or leader. They decrease offensive magic and ranging bonus, which is bad because we won't hit as often during the fight or get ko's.
