I was going to try it back when Randy posted about the safe hotspot in Ardougne last week, but I didn't get around to it due to school. So, after our Wildy Agility ANTIRPKING trip, I decided to go and try this 26k trick to see if I could get back some of the 45m in items I lost, and recoup the 30m it took to get them back from last Saturday. It took a lot of running around in cities to find the perfect spot that held a hotspot and had limited access from the majority of players. So, here it is, the spot that only about 150k people can get to: The Paladin room on the second floor of Ardougne Castle  What makes this spot so great is that you have to picklock the door. This requires 61 thieving, which only a small portion of Pk'ers have. It is highly unlikely that the random person checking for people to kill will get in there. Even if they did, it takes about 30 seconds for someone who knows you don't need a picklock to get in to get into the room after they keep failing and finally get in. I was at this spot for about 2.5 hours and no one came into that room with me. In fact, only about 5 people even came up the ladder outside of the door to my room there, one was to kill someone for a 26k. Everyone else went to the other side of the floor into the other room. I chose this room because you have a chest you can stand behind that does about 20 damage if you click on it without disarming the trap. This gives you a little extra protection to hug around. Also during this time I got a thieving level. --------------------  | ||

The guy was higher leveled than me and got in the door as I was killing a paladin. I teled and ran back, I was alone again until about 4 minutes later. The guy brought a friend with him and we were having fun seeing which one would find me on another PVP world first. That was fun. Really though, it's fairly safe considering where you could be AFK'ing at. I am also considering that I started at 9:07 AM EST, and it was about 11:00 AM EST when I ran into someone coming after me. The world was about to hit a normal surge of players. -------------------- | ||
