A lot of kids are pissed because they think it's racist to have a white cast. I can't be fucked. It's racist to insist on an Asian cast too. The only reason he's botched up in the past was because of his storylines. But he's doing an adaptation so he can't go wrong now. PLUS he's superb with child actors. The Sixth Sense. Also i wonder how off storyline they are going to be seeing as it would be hard to make much of the chapters into a real life action. Still i wish they wern't all white now lol. Shyamalan's stuff is great - I loved Stuart Little even though it was nothing like the book at all... but then again, nothing is.
