So far I have about six pages and the prolouge done. I also have some illustrations of the armor that the characters wear.  IRC Nickname: Big_Al_002 Group: Guardian Posts: 1102 Member No.: 1777 Joined: March 21, 2009 Total Events Attended: 25 | wow..sounds very interesting i would buy a few copies of this can u add me in-game? id like to meet you and keep up with what your writing =D my ideas: a mercenary sounds great, include stories of wg way back from where it started, you could make it like based on true stories of wars (we have vids of wars). include the best wars. instead of using real usernames, use real names and pretend its like a real-world fantasy world (hope u get that lol). for lots of the dialogue u could use lots of old english (medival times) or whenever runescape is dated in our time those are my ideas for now ill add more later -------------------- Guardian from 4/20/09 to 8/4/09, then quit. I have seen the movies and I plan to include some of the history of the clan. On the note of length, I plan to make it at least 50 pages long on notebook paper so its about 100 pages in a book. I'd imagine this will just be a generalization of the story of a runescape clan that happens to be called WG in this novel. Perhaps some similarities such as explaining how the said clan Anti-pks (WG's defining art that seems to have been overlooked recently by sloppy leadership in certain cases, not a flame, a point of view) and holds up to it's honor morales, which again I've seen overlooked with WG teleporting on PK trips. After thinking about this, I could write a kickass thesis on the history of WG going in detail from our very first fights to the present day. Every war it's own mini-story of triumph and heartbreak. King Roald is the King, therefore he's a highly respected NPC of runescape with an honorable background... hiring mercenaries to fight WG would be messed up because WG are supposed to be the good guys too. So you've got a good guy hiring bad guys to go after a good guy. The reason for the mercenaries is Varrock's army is not big at the time. -------------------- | ||||||
