WOOO I LOVE THE SUMMER!

I really do!

Tomorrow I'm kicking off festival season with a little 1 day Reggae festival in Oxford and it is a good feeling.

June 22nd is my last GCSE, and on the 24th me and my friends are heading off to Glastonbury! Glastonbury's the daddy of music festivals in England and is renowned worldwide, this is my first time going and it really does mark the end of my exams!

The next on I'm going to is on July 10th which is called NASS, which is both an action sports & music festival, so along with some of the best drum & bass and dubstep dj's we also have some professional bmx'ers and skateboarders to entertain us.

Then on July 25th I'm hitting Truck festival, which is basically the Oxford music scenes very own festival fuelled by copious amounts of drugs. Been going to this festival year in year out for some time now and it's always a rager.

Then, on the same day I get my GCSE results, August 27th, it's time for Reading Festival, been going to this for 4 years on the trot now. A really big festival that always signs the biggest names in music, last year brought Rage Against the Machine for example.

To mark the end of the festival season, on 10th September I'm heading to a really cool festival to make the understatement of the century, Bestival. Each year Bestival has a new theme to which everyone dresses accordingly, this year's is Space! Trippy.

I'm hoping to squeeze a couple more in between each aswell smile.gif

Doubt anyone bothered to read that because it really wasn't very interesting. But I'm so excited a needed a medium on which to express my enthusiasm!

What I want to know is whether any of you are hitting any festivals this summer or perhaps any holidays you want to brag about!

I was gonna hit up a local festival this weekend near me, that's free and has stages all over the town, and acts such as the Zutons and stuff. But I decided to stay in Newcastle for a little longer cos I just finished so wanted to enjoy my final few weeks.

I'm trying to get tickets for the ACL festival later this year, thats my main focus of the Music world this year... I also want to see Clapton /w Winwood when I'm in LA at the end of the month, but I'm not sure its gonna happen... madeoface.gif

ACL Lineup for any of those interested... I really want to see Pearl Jam and DMB again (Dave's shows are always great), and they have some other guys that I could see, like Citizen Cope, Sonic Youth, even Ben Harper and John Legend. The link also gives the bands that are playing, but I still don't know what days all the bands are playing, but I assume that Pearl Jam is on Sunday, Dave is on Saturday, and Kings of Leon are on Friday, but I still wish I knew what the official line-up was.

EDIT: I'm an idiot... I just saw the link to the official line-up, so I edited it in... I was right about who's playing when though, lol...
