A good number of you have done the quest. So lets go get some sigils eh? Required Quests The Restless Ghost Spirit of Summer Summer's End Zybez for guides  PLEASE BUY YOUR ZAMORAKIAN SPEARS. Sooner the better to be sure. Borrowing for a few hours on the day would be a great idea too if you know a friend  Read this Guide carefully. It is very informative. Not just for new players at Corporeal Beast. The invent and equipment should be the following: Helm of Neitiznot Glory/Fury* Zamorak Spear-Pretty much the best way to go and to me the only way to go. You can range but I won't accept too many rangers. Rune Crossbow/Ruby Bolts-Emerald bolts if you want to stun core. More on this later. Black d'hide top/Karil's top Black d'hide bottom/Karil's bottom Snakeskin boots/Dragon boots* Black vambraces/Barrows gloves* Wg Cape/Skillcape/Firecape* Rings: Doesn't matter whole lot. Seers for mage def, Ring of Life for if you think you might die. Zerker for more str bonus. ~Invent~ S Att, S Str, 1 S Restore, 3 Pots(can bring more S Rest), full invent of pineapple pizza, GAMES NECKLACE(for banking), 1 summoned beast of burden with pineapple pizza Terrordbird/Wartortoise/Pack Yak ***VENGENCE*** Not required but extremely helpful. Best used before kill and during. Cast venge on anyone tanking the Corp for best results. A lot of pro teams use this with great success. *asterisks designate what would be best. *Fury and barrows gloves are good because you can't lose them. I wouldn't recommend Armadyl because it will lower your melee stats. Heres a few examples, first is my preferred gear. Minus venge runes, 3 slots.     Strategies for the fight First we pot up and venge outside the cavern. Pray mage and enter. We don't lure the beast so we simply rush it. While fighting Corporeal Beast be sure to use piety or any other boosting prayers to inflict more damage. If he is on you tank but still try to attack as much as you are comfortable with. Eat 1 pizza half then another pizza, never eat a full pizza. It is just like normal tanking. You can eat one full pizza then another one you halved to manage your food better. Once Corporeal Beast is dead we tele via games necklace to Bounty Hunter/Wilderness Volcano and restock to go again. Vids with similar set ups. You can see how people actually fight it. Example Vesta spear/fire cape/venge similar defence set up and beast of burden. The Dark Core If your new to Corp you might see a little black thing fly around or even on you. This little devil consistantly saps 8-10 hp every 1-2 seconds to heal his master. Don't panic though, a simple shot with range with Emerald Bolts (e) spec will stun him. Please do not run from the core, it makes it incredibly difficult to stun it. Stunning it will lock it in place but only if a player stands on it or by any of the adjacent squares. You will take some damage over time but it will be very minimal. We usually only have one stunner. Vengence!! Fairly simple. Cast it on yourself before entering. Cast it on anyone during the fight you see Corporeal Beast on. What about BOB?~Beast of Burden Most likely during the fight your beast of burden will be devoured by the Corporeal Beast. Don't panic, simply kill the beast as fast as you can. Use prayers and vengence, don't run from the core. Those three tactics will make the fight as smooth as possible. After it is dead simply loot the food on the ground and summon a new BOB. Be fast however because Corporeal Beast will spawn again. Try not to take others food if you can help it. Only loot after it is dead! Tips~READ THIS There are no Gravestones inside the Corporeal Beast Lair. You still keep your 3 items+ whatever you protect. However returning is simple: Spawn point should be Falador. Have in a tab games necklace, terrorbird/super energy potions and some cheap food. If you die bank, grab games necklace, energy restoring item then teleport to clanwars. Immediately run north and then west back to the Corporeal Beast's lair. If you make it within two minutes you should be able to loot everything valuable. If your really awesome at this you might even loot your food. Bone Dagger p++ always lowers def a small amount and inflicts poison on Corporeal Beast. Corporeal Beast hits more often with Melee since you are in mage defence gear. If you fall within range of 50 hp or less take one step back to heal up. His melee can hit in the 50's. Pray mage. He can hit 65 with his mage when not praying. Try to spread 1 space away from each other. Also surround Corporeal Beast so he can't move. Sometimes people can get dragged under and stomped. This can create panic for new players. Never ever run from the core unless your certain me or the stunner cannot stun it for you. If everyone runs from the core it will slow down the kill and the team will take more damage. If the stunners fail DONT TANK THE CORE. Use good judgement. Small Notes Generally if you hit high. 35+ Corporeal Beast will most likely target you. Ruby Bolt specs make him target you as well. Since they hit 100 damage. When Corporeal Beast is spinning he is in aggressive mode and will randomly attack any player. This causes the spin effect. He is more prone to switch off from 1 target into aggressive mode these days. Any kind of poison will stun the core. As long as its poisoned. Think bone dagger p++ spec, Dragon Dagger p++, Emerald Bolts (e) so on and so forth... It is possible to trio corp and even duo corp! Duo Here YES EVEN SOLO CORPOREAL BEAST Funny Stories It is possible to create multiples of the same core if you don't kill it. Leave the core after Corporeal Beast is dead. It will multiply in the next fight. As in more will come out as you deal critical hits to the beast. When Corp first came out there were some funny instances of this. Such as 10 cores flying around in one kill. Here is an example Dark Core Pwnage There used to be 100 people masses on release day. Imagine it took longer to kill Corp with 100 people than with a good 3-5 man team today. Blame the core. Lol. Sigils are rare but alot of drops make up for it. Don't expect to see them often. They are rarer than hilts or just as rare as the most sought after. An interesting fact is they used to be worth 1-2 billion street when third age still had street value. Not as if many people would have this much junk. Silly merchants. I've seen a person get an elixir when they were 9m-10m. They dc'd right as they got it and never realized till they logged back in. Lucky it wasn't a sigil I've seen a guy fight Corp in my old 3-5 man lure/step teams while skulled, full bandos/str gear, zammy spear and firecape. Yes he didn't die.
