Tell us about your RS history, and also about your account (e.g. how you came to name it how it is named, what you like to do etc) : I am SS Black. I started RS in early SEPT 06 and remained a non member til early to mid 07. Quit in early 08 and like monday came back. Now i am lookin for a new group to chill with. My account name is SS BLACK - SS is for either (depends if ur JAGEX or not) SS as in the german elite fighting force of WW2 or SS = Site supervisor/shift supervisor as that is what i was at work at the time and all my signatures were SS BLACK (Black is my RL last name) I thought it loked cool and sounded cool so with the german bit and the work title bit thats my name. 2. Tell us more about yourself (Your age, where you are from, gender, Hobbies, Music, What you dislike/like): I am 26 yrs old and from northern KY. I have a wife and 3 babies (2 girls ages 3 and 2 and a boy age 1) I play too much video games and paintball when i got the money. Got a terrible left ancle so i have no business running around and all but i still do it - had the ancle problem since i was 17 and i am not about to sit around like an old vegitable until it gets cut off and i have to. I hate rap music, but most others is fine. I hate liars and thieves. I cannot stand trouble makers in clans/guilds as they only cause internal strife and problems. They need to leave if not happy. 3. How did you hear about WG and what makes you want to join the clan: I posted a 'Im lvl 116 and lookin' post and LEFTY responded. Honestly didnt care much for the name of the clan at first (i know but i am picky) but then LEFTY took the time to PM me in game and talk to me, really impressed me (out of all other posts on thread 1 person PMd me and he was a new guild looking for members and im not into that at this time) After looking thru the WG site and all AND EXSPECIALLY the fact LEFTY took time to talk to me - I feel this is where i should come. 4. Are there any current WG members who you already know: LEFTY - a lil from a convo with him 5. Any additional comments: I have been in clans. the first clan i Joined fell apart (dont even remember name but that the clan abruptly fell apart after a wildy raid that a member decided to jump myself and another, kill us and take our stuff) within a week of joining. So I looked around again - posted a thread and got a message from THE WHITE TEMPLARS (Big Reapa - leader) joined them and became #2 in the guild leading the ELITE GUARD of the guild. Reapa became inactive and refused to relinquish any acess to the clan chat (an account created just for chat no play on it) and refused to do anything of the rising promblems occuring that should have been kicks (even tho i was @2 i was not allowed to kick any1 nor could i remove them from clan chat) so i gave notice and resigned. I formed THE KNIGHTS OF VALHALLA with a friend. I was leader she was #2 with primary job as secritary - I messed up when appointing new leaders to postions and brought in her friends to these posts. I then got a 2nd shift position (m-f) but was on an hr before work and at least 3-4 hrs after and she got upset - said i needed to get a new job to be available for clan stuff. I refused and She waited til spring break ( a few stout backers of mine where goin out of town and AFK that week) and she held a leader meeting - effectivly voting me out. Guild fell into disray - closed for a few weeks (her thread says a few days) She still runs it and it still exists today - tho not in the same form as before. Honestly, i am a little put off in the fact she blames me for the problems she caused and the rules/regulations that were goin too far when i was there as i spoke against alot of them but was constantly outvoted in leader votes by her crew. With this and the creation of the GE and no-unfair-trades in early 08 - i left RS. was tired. was burnt out as i had played too long every day for way too long. and the changes i hated. Found a new game - joined a guild there (or you get sunk by every1) and rose ranks quickly until it feel apart when the leader drug us into a war we didnt want nor need to be in. i was one of a chosen few that knew he was thinking about the move - STRONGLY urged against it as I tried to tell him the members where tired of waring constantly. Within a week he just leaves the guild, and since i wouldnt join his move and was the only vocal person against his actions (also he took 100mil from guild bank) I got kicked by his GF who took over in his place. Here i joined an alliance quickly again gaining rank - started own guild within the alliance and was there 9 months. Game updates and brought out island - my guild got one (alliance had 3 2 under same tag and we held third) but our allias/coalition brought us into a long war and refused to let ANYONE of the war list - me and my guild where the night time players (appx 10 total) and we were fighting 30 boats a night and holding. The day time players didnt care much when we complained about the constant addition to war list and the totally got peed when we refused to drop our tags to theres. We had alot of emotion and pride of our tag that 10 or less could defeat 30+ nightly and we refused. The behind doors name calling and drama began and my guild voted to leave (i abstained as i knew it meant ALL coalition island being lost witch they were (12 in total) within 5 hrs of us leaving) so we left. I then fended off 2 COUP attempts and an all out war against the alliance we left (1 guild vs 11) and held them off our island. We sold the island due to RL money issues. Then came more updates making The game too costly for me and i resigned, handing leadership to my second in command and selling my account. and thus my return to RS. I hope to find a quiet home here - not much wantin any leadership right now as i am tired of politics and drama. I also hope to find awnsers and help becuase i feel kinda silly as a lvl 116 noob (all the new stuff i have no clue about). And honestly i have found that guilds/clans are a great place to have fun and enjoy a game even when the game itself gets dull or boring. You make good friends there and can have alot of fun if you find the right group. if yall have any questions - feel free to PM me in game or ask em here! SS Black -------------------- | ||
