Yes, he is a prick. However, he is talented, he's not just a Rapper, he's also a Record Producer, producing Albums for people such as Jay-Z and Alicia Keyes. He combined 70s R&B, classical music and soul with rap and was a success with it. 4 #1 Albums in the US. Just because he's not to your taste does not mean he's not talented. Like...I'm no fan of Taylor Swift or anything but seriously just because she won she did NOT deserve that. Kanye West is one of the worst people I've ever seen...and yet he's so damn famous. I don't get it. Any of his songs which might end up catchy, or slightly above tolerable are more than likely remixes of other peoples' songs. He's so full of himself it's not even funny. I remember reading at one point that HE was the voice for our generation...who the hell has the audacity to proclaim that? Furthermore, any person who happens to be the voice of a particular generation is usually humble enough to not say it themselves, and when someone says it about them, they kind of shrug it off because to them it doesn't matter...
