I'd like you to describe the experience showing some differences in what we have now in clans.

My first clan only used ts and rs to communicate. There was no cc in rs then. It was so awesome. We would do everything together as a team. I got my cooking lvl with them. I was there skiller/shopper and trusted with many things. GE wasn't around so I made all my customers met me in my house. (Which at the time was 4 walls.) I'd stay up late just to see my friends and chat on ts to them.

It is not only the pk stuff that has changed.

The Dark Legion; I made it up in 2004 and went around Falador asking people to join. I made some really good friends there even though as a clan we never really did anything. tongue.gif Justin (Powerman24) was one of them, and he later recruited me to WG in 2005. Two others I kept in contact with for years until we all eventually drifted away from the game (one of which is a genuine rockstar, which I thought was funny as hell).

My first clan was an up and coming ARPK clan. When I joined the reqs were 95+ and I was like, 97 combat. It took a while for me to get into the swing of things, and make friends in the clan, but eventually I was a trusted member in the clan. Later I was a raid leader (twice), council, and head of the skills sector. And now I'm an Elite Guardian.

I haven't joined one yet tongue.gif In terms of Kec, my first clan was technically my own so I'll skip that. The clan that introduced me to the clan world was the Abyssal Guardians but I never obtained membership (Even though I attended like every event with them).

The first clan I joined was called Black Fire Knights and I didn't stay for very long because of their lack of events (When I say lack I don't mean small amount of, I mean lack) so I can't really say much there.

After BFK I joined Leigion of Chaos and Tunescape for a short time each before finding Red Blade Hunters, which is the clan I call my first clan. It was October 29th, 2006. They were a small clan but had a great community. A PKing trip was on the day I applied so I decided to attend. We had a geat requirement of mith and up (It was a 70+ clan and I was 76) so I took a combination of mith and rune. We were supposed to be yellow capes but I think only like 2 of the 6 people that showed up had one. We went deep, got in a couple of kills, ran into a small team and raped them, I even got a kill ohmy.gif Vid is HERE

We had invisionfree forums and a semi-active IRC channel. Was good times smile.gif

a buddy of mine from FOREVER ago made me join ANARCHY of all clans. Are they even still around lol? I was in there for 2-3 days and when they forced me to take full rune on a raid(which I couldn't afford at the time) I said screw it and came to WG like 2 weeks later. hash.png

Then WG made you buy 5M in raid gear. angryhahs.gif.png

---

My first clan was 'The Money Making Anti Pkers' later renamed to 'Saradomin's Chosen'. Lead by Snowzak, we went on 1 or 2 pk trips in all the months I was in them and we were just really a group of close friends whom kept contact in RS and on our Forums (we didn't have an irc chan. tongue.gif) While in SC I also joined DG later followed by Knight Seek and Stud05 and after another month or so by Snowzak.

Errr the first clan i was in was a clan i lead with 2 real life friends, very small about 30-40ish members around 11 who were active and came to events, I enjoyed it for a year or so got bored and quit RS for 2 years or something, To think one of the council here was being abused by me all that time ago in a different clan biggrin.gif

RR.

Strange when I joined, and it grew and grew and I lead and I left. Was in there for nearly 4 years or so.

DG - Don't remember much about it really. I can vaugely remember raiding for the first time, being killed and logging out (lol). Met Rene, Hathor/Ray, Phoenom, Georgio, Lordy etc. Never really spoke to anyone else until DG clsoed and I started talking to other EX-DG who were training for WG reqs.

Mist Wraiths or something like that.

Was in for about a month, maybe more. Left along with Punk Rockaa, and MrMe355. The three of us joined WG when the combat requirement was 80+. I was also convinced by one of my best RS friends ever, Mr Cool7.

And yeah, basically that's it.

the brotherhood of shadows was my first clan after some friends convinced me to join when there were about 5 or 6 members and i was highest level. it was all f2p and we just used to go pking all the time at hillies and standing round the gds when clans came who just koed everyone who hadn't logged. and also going to rune rocks where stokenut got all the kills (biatch). but he shared. No idea how i ever afforded any armour or runes but it was good times. eventually closed down when arnan1991(leader) stole a whip from a member after lending it back about when they first came out and then lied about finishing runescape and closed the clan, he later joined rot and was in wg for a bit.

Great to hear about everyone else.

I was in a clan called Dragon Annihilators (DAR) from 2003 - 2006 (when i joined WG). Braveheart49 was in too if you remember him. Got recruited at the chicken pen. It was an awesome clan, I loved it. Events were never big, biggest one maybe 14 people, but I had a blast in it. The leader cleako was always coming up with new ideas, especially making movies and stuff. The banter was quality. Still want to meet the guys in real life if i ever go to america.

There was no clan chat obviously, and IRC wasn't a big thing round then. We communicated through rs, forums, ts, and the 'shoutbox' on the forum. Clan fights were very different during RSC because you could not have 2 on 1 anywhere in the wildy, except rangers and magers.

Here was one of the 'JIHAD' pk trips. Sure, risky name to use, we had a muslim guy who started it hash.png Was essentially because you're not risking anything.

Followed the clan into Guild Wars at one point, then they came back. Finally split when i reached the req for WG, because i fancied a change. Feras also quit, and went to a different clan. Still, i've had an awesome time with DAR.
