Partyhats have been driven to a sky high because of the high demand and small amount. Oddly enough, Purple broke this chain a few days ago.  People say that one offer for max or lowest in ge can change the price of a rare because there are so few left in the game. The fact that purples are dropping in price is unexplainable. The regular supply/demand law has been broken. People have come up with a few rumors/theories as to why this is happening. -Jagex is manually changing the price to make people panic and make partyhats crash. -Some theory that people have max offers in ge has a effect? (takes a load of money) -A old ancient account was discovered with quite a few purples and they sold on ge. If you are market savvy or know anything at all post it!
