You should try to blend your characters in better with your signatures. Through use of smudging or C4Ds, even blurring can help to create a better flowing signature.

In the first I also think that there is no real feel for lighting due to there being no natural flow of light or light source.

You seem to use the text to fill up dead space, which is nice, but I personally am not a big fan of fancy outstanding text unless it's an advertising signature or clan signature. Your name should just be there to prove that it's yours and belongs to you, not to identify you by as that is already mentioned next to your post.

I love the background of the first one though and the light effect is quite nicely executed in the second one.

The embedded border effect also adds to the atmosphere in the second signature, although in the first signature I feel that the white border is a bit out of place.

Rene what is a C4D?

Dallar, do you cgi the images of the girls yourself as well? If so... here's a challenge, do you think you could do a decent representation of someone from a RL pic?

If you think you're up to that I'll take you on tongue.gif

Rene what is a C4D?

C4Ds, short for Cinema 4Ds (which is one of the programs used to make them) are abstract 3D images which are used in signatures for multiple purpose and due to the large variety and difference in one they can each give their own feel to a signature.

They can be used to smudge, add effects to signatures, function as a background and to kill dead space.

An example of one I recently used: http://i37.tinypic.com/25aueu1.png

They are usually just used by putting them on overlay/lighten and/or scaling them. While positioning them in a way you think looks good.

I want both of them!
Top one if very good#
If there's anything to improve on, it would be to make the sigs a tad smaller.

The last one is definitely an improvement text and blending wise.

Your name isn't as intrusive as it was previously and although the WG is present it wouldn't be something that would distract from the focal.

But that's a bit of the problem, I feel that the focal isn't brought out enough (although this is just nit picking as a sig maker myself) You should try to erase some of the motion blur parts that are covering the guy his face for example.

Some other ways to add on to the focal could be gausian blurring the motion blur (I assume that's what you used) and erasing the parts around the render and also darkening and lightening parts of the sig using black and white soft brushes or slapping on some curves/levels adjustment layers. (Which could also help to create some depth)

Overall, I feel that while the first and second one have their good aspects, the third one is a much more versatile one and scores better overall.

It's also nice to see someone who actually bothers to listen to advice. tongue.gif
