So the general gist of it is you can now hit ~45 with Ice barrage (staff + 40% magic boost pot) and you can boost your melee stats to 125. You can also now Melee dragons without a Dfire shield (SGS'ing them ftw?). Oh and p2p Pk'ing is dead now, spec potions mean that claws are going to become epically overpowered now. It was nerfed before it was even out, its hidden away at the bottom of the patch notes that they 'added' a 30s timer before you can take a second dose (yeah I don;t see how they can 'add' stuff to a brand new update, but hey). I tried out the assist system with it, and yes at the moment it doesnt work, but I get the impression that its a bug and not intentional. Normally if you can't assist to makes something it gives a message along the lines of "You cannot use the assist system to make this" or similar, but with this it just gave the usual box saying "you need X herblore level to make this potion". If they give you just just a bit more power, and then balance offensive and defensive focuses for players, maybe you'll finally get a real boss fight in a few months.
