lately i was asking some people what event status ment, whats it used for (to see if someone is active or not), how its used and how it works(event status goes down by 1 every week and rise with every event you attend).
meaning if you attend 1 event each week ure event status will always be 15* making it hard to determine who is very active and who is inactive.

how to solve

what if you make event status go less down when your're event status is low and let it go down harder when your're attending a lot (meaning higher event status)
with this way you can easily see who is active and who is not for example

EXAMPLE!
event status 10+ goes down by 3 every week
event status 5+ goes down by 2 every week
event status 5- goes down by 1 every week

people who want to be seen active have to attent at least 3 events a week to maintain a high event status while if your're a little less active you can still stand with 1 event a week

discuss plz,
markenzie1

*you need to get 15 event status only once
** sorry for the bad english it might contain

It's not fair to have different standards for different levels of activity of people.
This would make really active people want to be less active if you see what I mean.
It's not like we really use this alone to determine inactivity. The Council don't go around and say "he's at 0 on the rolling counter, he's kicked".... we use this, total event activity, irc, rs and forum activity to determine everything.

But thanks for taking the time to suggest this.
I just don't think it would work.

I'm not sure but I think council tracks the mega raids and cwa events too. That goes into activity. There is a rule about how many of these you can miss in a row. It is determined case by case. Some of the adults work so that is considered.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

It's nice you suggest. Shows your interest in the clan..

However I can't see the benefit of loosing like 15 points in 3 weeks instead of one once a week. It would force people to go to events instead of enjoying the very moment you attend an event. I can't see how this would work sry..

Look markenzie,
it's not about forcing people to come to the events because then they'd be annoying and ruining it for other people. It's about making people WANT to come to events because theyre fun and interesting.

This ^ and what Ludo said. Besides, having an event status of 15 and attending 1 event per week to keep it so isn't a huge problem in terms of inactivity. If you're inactive, you constantly don't attend events and the status decreases. That's less than 1 event a week, and considering the variety of events WG hosts, anyone who can't keep standard with that... I think it's fine how it is.
