Racist! dface-ani.gif

Jk. It's from the makers(?) of The Matrix, so it's got some hope hidden behind that so-called chineseishness.

Ninja Assassin was AMAZING. Like, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious spelled backwards and about to slice open every single on of your arteries before you can manage a whimper amazing.

To be fair there's a few shortcomings, so I'll give it an honest 8/10, but damn that was a fun movie. And I literally jumped at a shadow when I got home, so that makes it a 9/10.

Also, The Book of Eli looks intense as hell. biggrin.gif

Saw it, and couldn't stop laughing.

The effects were pretty badass, and the fight scenes were top notch, but as far as a story goes...please...

I knew exactly what was going to happen at the end when the movie started. And there is one part which was HILARIOUS - the "special" thing...hopefully those that have seen it know what I'm talking about.

I was entertained, but not impressed.

Heh, we laughed at quite a bit of it too. But the fights - especially in the warehouse and in the bathroom - were brilliant. biggrin.gif Plus I read a lot of manga - *glances at sig* - so seeing the lines between the American/Asian influences on the storyline was intriguing to me.

It's like, no matter what holes the plot had in it, they were just like "screw it, we'll make the fights so great no one will care" and they came pretty darn close imo. happy.gif
