Ok so I try to log back on into Runescape after completely cleaning up my computer from a bunch of useless and old programs and what do you know? My password is changed as well as my recovery quests removed mad.gif mad.gif

I tried recovering it and of course, it was denied mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

I've had it with Runescape. Theres no way I can make another account and train it all the way to level 100 again. It took me almost 6 years to do it with Sxe Asher, and I just don't have the patience or the time to do it again.

I'm sorry guys. I really hate that it had to end this way. I sent in another recovery attempt but I doubt it'll be accepted w/o my recovery questions.

It's been nice knowing you. I might still pop in the forums once in a while.

Good bye hashdown.gif.png

That sucks. I always thought it took a couple of days to get rid of recovery questions.

Good luck with life.

I'm so sorry to see this...

Maybe try as Joe said and if you recover it come back? Will miss you, you were a good member here. It is a shame it ends like this.

I once had an account hacked. I had only ever used one password and had no recoveries. It took me 4 years of appealing to unlock it, but I did.

Give em everything - if you paid for P2P with a card give em the last 4 digits - guaranteed. They ask for stuff like the IP address of your computer and the internet provider you had when you registered the account.

If all else fails I have a level 93 account you can have. It's got nothing on it, but if you give it members I'll do some 76ks and spend a few days at green drags, it'll be fit for WG. 93-100 would be a lot easier than 3-100, and I know how to train at that level. You could be back within WG before the new year.

I wonder if WG is being targeted. We've had what, 3 hacks in the past week?

give them the names of friends some of the more unusual stuff in your bank what is on your warn logs.

Stuff like that may help you. Tweek hopefully can help you too.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.

Either case is a failure of leadership.”

QUOTE   WG_Keanu @ December 24, 2009 11:50 am)

I wonder if WG is being targeted. We've had what, 3 hacks in the past week?

THEY'RE OUT TO DESTROYYYY US!!!!!!

But yeah as long as you have the 1st recoveries, 1st passwords, credit card info, a couple ppl on your friends list, the approx. time that you created the account (summer of 2006 for example), internet provider, things like that, and your recovery will be successful.

I was able 2 recover my very 1st account that I loaned to a friend that quit RS, but the password was changed, and the recoveries were changed, I told him he could. But yeah I was able to recover the account in less than 24hours giving the above information.

Id also like to note that the recoveries my friend put were different, but I put the answers to the questions I remembered, and in the note I put 'these are the earliest recovery answers I remember'

Hope this helps.
