      IRC Nickname: Dnovelta Group: Emeritus Posts: 2750 Member No.: 130 Joined: January 20, 2008 Total Events Attended: 137    | Okay, with all the people talking about how our set requirement is so expensive, and people not being able to make the money that is required, I decided to make a guide on how to kill Green Dragons. I find it's very efficient. I won't bother with stats and stuff because you'll be able to do exactly what I do, or at a very least apply it to make your method a bit more efficient. The place you'll be going is the Chaos Tunnels. You will be using the entrance that is DIRECTLY north of the Grand Exchange - NOT the one that is near the Zamorak mage that teleports you to the abyss. Here is my gear:  The terrorbird pouch is NOT for storing extra bones/hides (you could if you wanted to though). I use it to hold my potions. I run to the entrance, take a sip of each potion and go down and kill dragons. Crack the house tablet, recharge prayer glory to Edgeville - repeat. I timed a run I did simply for this guide, took me 6 minutes and 46 seconds to get 14 bones and 14 hides which is about 91k. I did this in a crowded location so take that into account as well. Shouldn't have affected me too much though. At 82 Prayer, I tabbed out with 25 Prayer left and my anti-fire hadn't worn off yet. Some might think "Well, you're maxed melee, obviously this works for you!" That's true, I can usually beat out anyone that is down there when we're both on the same dragon. That doesn't make this an terrible money making method either... Here are some tips if you don't have my stats or a house with all the things I have (alter and portals). - If you know your prayer won't last 14 dragons, bring SOME food. Not as much as you used to, but some just to make sure you don't die. - Don't be afraid to sip another dose of anti-fire. - If you don't have a house with an alter or portals, running back to the GE is pretty quick and there is always the monastary. You could even use this method at the Green Dragons near CWA: Games Necklace to CWA and run east, get bones and hides. Tele BH and bank. Run alter, tele CWA - repeat. It's fast. It's easy. It's money. Do. It. Now. --------------------   | ||

I just use it because I prefer it over Prosylete top, and just use the Prosylete bottoms. The basic idea is to get high prayer bonus and good attack bonuses. -------------------- | ||

You don't HAVE to use diamond, but when I do I only need to shoot one and usually get the kill over the mass pile of people in the chaos tunnels. Maybe some new gear and stuff, but seeing as it's basically the most basic steady money maker in the game, I don't see the need to use crazy gear for it. Besides, if you can afford really good gear, you're most probably not using Green Dragons for your primary source of income. Reticked, what exactly do you do for 14 dragons in 2 minutes? That's a dragon every 8 seconds, are you using a cannon or something? -------------------- | ||

World 27 chaos tunnels, so many bots there - they move when a drag spawns so if you are standing where it is and attack first - almost always get the kill. then you get the spawns down and you easily get every kill if high enough attack level - and they're basically killed instantly. -------------------- Best Firemaker in WG no lie   <--- rofl1st joined WG: October 18th, 2005.
