Getting someone to intro is only the first step, however a lot of intros end up fading into inactivity, most dont even end up posting an application.

My point here is we can recruit all we want, but it isnt going to do anything unless we can keep them interested as an intro.
We need to get them involved into our community the moment they show interest, even just adding them on RS and saying hello. Hosting more public events and inviting them, go on a pvm trip with them, play a minigame, just anything to keep them involved with WG or they will just forget about us.

Tl;dr:

• Many Intros dont make it to Trial Guardian
• Talking to them on rs/irc and doing stuff with them can help this.

Yeah. After graduation is epic. From application to graduation is pretty cool. But from intro to application, there's really not much going on, and there's a lot of space to shove some stuff to keep the intro's interested. I've no ideas what though.

Maybe encouraging them by "Hi, I'm looking forward to your application."

I notice that the ones that put effort into their applications get better feed back too. Just remember some people may start out shy but end up being great members.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”

I think even the little things like just a simple hello on their intro, and applications keeps people here, alot of people dont bother, and i think it should be a responsibility everybody has.

I'm always an advocate of inviting intros on raids.
Its not like we get hunted.

Yeah, when I could come along on the raids on Kecooler as an intro was epic. Just make sure they don't do what I did and get all the kills tongue.gif
