You do get 2 weeks of leave during a deployment, that you can take "whenever" (read: if there's a spot open at that time) you want to go home for a bit. So it could actually be his. A much more epic fail is when I was at basic, we had been there for 4 months and one of my friends got word his girlfriend was pregnant. 8 weeks pregnant in fact.  -------------------- Born at sea, baptized in blood your fame will never die.
