You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense...

Now only fitness related questions faggits

Lol, Owen one-uped you.

Ok Owen thanks for this thread it really helps me. I have a few.

1. What is the latest time you suggest eating.
2. How much creatine should I have a day?
3. What's the difference in effectiveness between an early morning workout and an afternoon one?
4. Should I eat before a weights session for energy? (I was told that you should do it on an empty stomach because your body is in starvation mode and the workout is more effective... hence the effectiveness of an early morning workout)
5. Do cardio warmups really matter before a weights session?

________

LMFAO Keanu. First time Darth showed that to me I was struck dumb. I spent like 5 minutes trying to comprehend it. It comes close to making sense than I lose it.

5. Do cardio warmups really matter before a weights session?

1. Depending on your bedtime, I'd say latest, have a snack 1-2 hours before sleep. Don't go to bed after a heavy meal.

2. Creatine, always follow the recommended daily dosage. However, as for long term usage, since creatine is relatively new (Last 10-15 years) on the market, and there is no definitive proof on long term effects (esp. kidney/liver damage) I tend to do 6 weeks on 6 weeks off.

3. The difference? Preference mostly, some people prefer early morning workouts (I do), some people prefer midday, others prefer evening. Although, if I remember correctly your testosterone levels are highest just after waking which "could" help your workout.

4. YES. Never do weights on an empty stomach, best case scenario you wont lift/perform as well as you usually would, worst case scenario you could end up fainting/throwing up whatever you have left in your stomach.

5. The instructor in me wants to say yes, but in practice, probably no. I mean, it's good to raise the heart rate and get the blood pumping, but you can do that just as easily with a few quick warm up weights sets. Proper stretching and joint mobility exercise both before and after are very important though.

What kind of cardio are you doing? Try mixing it up a bit with swimming, cycling, running. As well as doing some weights, not necessarily OMG ROID ARNIE WEIGHTS, just low weight high reps exercises for the whole body. All else I can suggest is that your body has adjusted to your training regime somewhat and your training is obviously still improving your cardiovascualar endurance, but is maybe not entering fat burn mode. At a higher heart rate (about 80-85% of maximum heart rate), you do burn more total calories, but at a lower heart rate (60-65%) you burn a higher percentage of fat calories (from fat tissue). So essentially, what you need to do is maintain a heart rate of about 65% of your maximum (maximum being 220 minus your age = ~200), so you want to be maintaining ~120-130 Beats per minute, for longer periods of time, up to an hour/90 minutes.

I had 6 Packs about 4 Months ago and somehow lost them because I was eating every time I saw food in-front of me.

I started working out and doing the same Exercises for about 2 Months now; nothing changed.

Any tips?

Eat less, eat better, exercise more.

Try a variety of exercises, and make sure they're catered towards burning fat as opposed to getting built.

What are the best workouts for a toned body. Not interested in huge muscles, but would like a decent build all over.

My diet is TERRIBLE. I eat pizza, burgers, fries, chips, pasta, loads of sugar and drink ridiculous amounts of soda. I am not fat however.

I'm about 5'7" to 5'8" and around 145-150 lbs.

I'd like to lose fat and build muscle basically.

What foods should I look for (because I'm fairly certain I should cut out a fair number of my regular choices)?

Repeating what David just lined up, although I eat better, am two inches taller and 10-15 lbs. lighter. Ruling out a gym or weights, what's some stuff I can do at home/etc. to stay relatively in shape overall? I do push-ups/pull-ups/sit-ups/etc. when I feel like it, but I don't feel like that's the whole picture. What am I simply missing?

I'm also curious if there's certain exercises that help with asthma/lung function. I know asthma isn't something you can "overcome" by working out, but there must be ways to improve lung function and maybe stamina (I'd love to be able to run, but I can't, at all).

Thanks!

If there is a layer of fat, the abs will not be seen.

Okay so, I'm nearly 15 like 135-140lbs. If I am doing about 200 minutes football, 30 minutes running and 30 cycling a week. Would I still lose weight by eating 3 main meals and approximately 300 calories in snack food a day?

Have started going the gym twice a week aswell. Just wanna tone up pecks and abs really.

Sport training, mainly basketball and football (australia rules football, lots of running and kicking and stuff)

Also ride my bike alot since i cant drive till may FML

and yea, i would say i give it about 50-75% at trainings, but game day matches i would assume my heart rate would be really high.

but yea, i was thinking of going to the gym at university and joining, prob get swimming again, and go do some weights

I haven't done any of my routines since like end of summer. I'm within normal range of weight for my height. I'm not trying to gain or loss. I would like to firm up overall body. I'll start walking and maybe jog when the weather and my health are better.

The thing is that I would like an "easy" low intensity dvd type exercise to do at home. It should be something I can modify til I feel better. I want some nice arms, tummy, butt and leg stuff. lol I have 1 1/2 lbs weights that I walk and run with maybe something that includes those. I'd love something that involves more of a strength training.

Just since the beginning of the year I've lost over 12 lbs and I worry that it is my muscle that I'm losing. I don't eat very well since I have been sick and throw up easily. So I'm switching to a whey protein drink to get my nutrition in. I'm very low iron and anemic.

Bass ive got a question about cardio. ive heard opposing arguments for doing cardio when you're aiming to put on mass. atm im probably doing about two 20-30minute pretty intense cardio sessions a week, is this hindering or helping my ability to put on mass?

cheers

I've heard that doing your cardio after your weight workout is best for optimizing fat weight loss because your body has burned most of the calories that are burned before fat molecules.
