Its already in motion so there is no stopping it now, and no time for adjustments. I just want to know if you guys/gals think its a good idea. Background: We've worked with each other for a little over a year now, both the same age/grade, but I don't see her in school much. (No classes together) We hang out on some weekends, usually just to see movies, and always with other friends. Never just us two alone. So yesterday I wrote a little couplet and had it delivered to her. Very short, but the usual complimenting her etc etc with a mention about going to prom with me. I didn't leave my name. I felt like a creeper after doing it, but it was part of the plan. I've wrote one more for tomorrow which is going to be delivered to her, again anonymous. Inside the couplet I left a little hint as to who was writing it, but I doubt she'll notice until after I point it out. And at the end, I wrote "I hope you enjoy your surprise later today." To make her wonder when its going to happen, and just kinda be anxious about it all day. Then the surprise comes. I work with her and some other girl later that day, and sometime during her shift these flowers will be delivered, accompanied by a card with a romantic inside-joke so she'll know instantly that its from me. And at the end, it says "Will you go to prom with me?" And naturally while she is reading it, I'll be right at her side waiting. So its a little late to change any parts of the plan, but I'm just curious what you guys think... --------------------   | ||||

Definitely romantic and a bit risky but just know that the risk takers always get the bigger prize. I'm sure she'll say yes. I'm with Mr Gibbs on this one. Here's how prom normally works out: - You ask a girl out to prom - She says yes - You get to prom - Everyone gets drunk - The fact that you asked this girl out doesn't even matter at this point anymore. The number one rule and I really mean this is to just make sure that YOU have a good time. Sure it's nice to look out for other people but it's a glorified high school party and you still need to look out for yourself first and others second. ESPECIALLY if you're going as just friends and nothing more. If you're actually dating her, it's a different story...sorta. --------------------   | ||||

Honestly I never wanted to go to prom, but I really liked this girl. I knew she didn't have a date, so I figure this would be the perfect way to ask her out. I hate the idea of prom, I just wanted to go with her. -------------------- | ||||
