Well... first off let me say I'm not sure if this should go here or in the Gaming Discussion. Anyways... I'm considering selling my Xbox 360 simply because I don't play it much anymore. I have a PS3 and with the spare time that I do have I'd rather play the PS3.
I've been "attempting" to sell the Xbox 360 on a local selling site kinda like Ebay except you meet up and exchange money and the item(s). It comes with:

- Xbox 360 + all cords
- 20gb hard drive
- 2 controllers
- 1 play and charge kit for controllers
- 1 guitar hero guitar
- 1 intercooler external fan.
- 12 games (Perfect Dark zero, Kameo, Fable 2, Halo 3, PGR 3, CoD 3 and WaW, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Oblivion, GTA 4, Guitar Hero 2.

So far only 2 people have replied and they've offered (what I find to be) low-balls, or cheap offers. They offered $120 and $150 respectively... That's in Canadian Dollars which is some where are $100 to $130 US dollars. I'm not a pro at selling or anything but I'm pretty sure I can get better than that. So, my question to you guys:

Should I keep the console? Should I sell it? How much would be a reasonable price? I've tried asking my family but they have no idea...

P.S. my last resort is just putting it on Ebay... but that's a "LAST" resort.

What do you think a good price would be?

I would think $300 to $400 for all of that? I am not too sure on 360 prices and such, but you include a lot of games and other accessories.

Yeah see that's what I was thinking. The guy that offered $120 was saying "well the xbox pro bundles are selling for $300" and I didn't bother replying because I knew he's a cheap ass. My argument to him was that yes, they are $300, but they come with 1 or 2 games and a controllers where as what I'm selling comes with 12 games and accessories and 2 controllers.

I just need some one interested in paying in the right price I guess.

Check what other people are selling similar/same items for. Then somewhere in that range depending on condition and how long you want to wait.

I wouldn't settle for less than $350 for all of that. Controllers alone still go for a good amount. I would buy yours if I wasn't broke as hell.

A lot of cheap people where I live I guess cause the highest offer so far is $200... Arggh. I'm soon to resort to Ebay where I KNOW that I will get a good price.

1. What condition is your GTA 4 in?
2. How much for the GTA 4?

And how much for the play and charge kit? Not including the pads. Just the battery packs/charger cable.

It depends. Do you have younger family? Do you have an issue with the xbox games? Do you have a warranty on your ps3?

If you have younger family, did you consider giving it to them? Or friends?
I would make it a nice little gift. Even selling it at a discount price for them would be cool, in my opinion.

If you have an issue with the games (taste-wise), I'd keep it, in anticipation of potentially good titles to come. Frankly, the games you listed are kind of out-of-date; I'd be bored too if I was stuck playing them. Better games can always come in the future.

If you don't have a warranty on your ps3... it might be a good option to keep the xbox. Though, it's probably not the biggest factor to consider here... since you could use the money fom the xbox to repair your ps3.

To Mickey: I'm only selling the package hehe.

To Firelion: Yeah I'm not sure. The thing is I have 2 PS3's in my house that I own and then my bro has one so if my PS3 does crap out we have a few extras wink.gif I just think in general that the 360 doesn't interest me. The main reason I bought it was back in the day when Oblivion came out because at the time my PC wasn't able to run it, and now I have a PC and a PS3 that can both run it. I feel like the Xbox is losing the quality games that it did have. It seems that the PS3 is finally picking up to the Xbox because so far it has release FF13 and God of War 3 (yeah i know xbox has it too but watever). It also has some crazy titles coming such as Just Cause 2, Max Payne 3, Gran Turismo 5, Moto GP, Mafia 2, The Agency, The Last Guardian, and of course the anticipated Halo for PS3.... Vanquish (or at least that's what I'm thinking)

The basic xbox 360 new is only $129 now. My buddy recently got rid of his 360, but he did it privately.

Ebay is pretty good for getting rid of things and finding obscure things. I use it all the time and I've never had a problem with it as a buying or a seller. Just beware that PayPal takes a decent commission when you withdraw funds from your PayPal account and ebay's fees aren't exactly the cheapest either if you put a reserve on the items.
