Hello WG, I haven't been around here in maybe, a year or two but I thought I'd post some progress.
Luck would have it that these days I am delirious almost 24/7, really happy, my life has gotten so good that I have gotten back into game development very recently, since my favorite engine became free.
I want to post some updates on this game and what is generally going on with me and my programming so I decided to post. smile.gif
The game I am currently working on is called The Hedge and is a 3d puzzler / maze game.
Right now the feasture list isn't very long but later on you'll need to use teleporters to get around, drop planks over holes, always striding to get the highest score while finding the hidden object in the maze.
Here's a few pictures:

First level (Far from done yet, seen in editor):

I have used bump maps for the hedges and it's going to get pretty exciting in the comming weeks. smile.gif
Ohh, and good to see you all again!

Sure, find me a 3D guy or 10 and we'll get cracking. wink.gif
I will say that in a professional engine it is quite possible to get a prototype going but, still takes more people than a programmer / game designer and a music genious. biggrin.gif

Early (Very early!) alpha of the first level.

You will need Unity Player, a small program which is easy to download and install (Just click my game to start downloading) After that you can always play my games on the web directly in your browser, along with ANY other unity game that is set up to run in your browser.
Graphics were sort of made by me Using textures found elsewhere, music was downloaded on a free music site.
Programming yadda yadda by me. smile.gif

She was having a picknick with her children when all of a sudden the evil Doctor Brick™
Came down on them and stole her children.
Now miss marble must navigate through his treacherous mazes to rescue all of her children.
This breakneck swashbuckling adventure takes you through 7 levels of daredevil fun!
Stay tuned!"

Haha. >.<
Hi guys, good to see you again.
A few more updates, I stopped smoking 30 hours ago and it's freaking me out, ohh well, it's the healthy thing to do. biggrin.gif
I have made big plans for my future, in about 8-10 months I'm packing up my few belongings and moving to Thailand, to settle for good.
I have met a really good woman who I am building a friendship with, I hope when I move down there we can become really good friends, mayhaps more. smile.gif (One can draem. wink.gif )
By the way, it's this womans fault I stopped smoking, we decided together. smile.gif
I spoke with her on the phone today, 3 times. ^^; I have big hopes for the future.
I'll be back with more updates along the way.
*Waves and dances out of the door*

Bad news on my front.
Sunday at 2 pm I was attacked by a woman in my building, completely unprovoked.
First she threw her smoothie in my face and afterwards she threw at full force a large coffee mug.
I waited in the ER for 5 hours, got stitched up, waited in the police station 1 hour, reported the crime and spent two days at my paren'ts house to relax.
I'm back now, I am dealing with the incident, it'll just take me a while.

Yes well, discrimination aside, Grimson now has a new home Right here!
I've been working on it a while and found a kickass webhost, 1500 mb space, 100gb bandwidth and tons of features, all free of charge!
That'll do for now, later I'll upgrade to the paid service which adds many more features. ^^;
Anyway, browse the site, the forums (Which I'm still working on) and feel free to ask questions and anything you might like. biggrin.gif
Enjoy.

PS: Uploaded Poor miss marble alpha 1.0 to the games section, any new versions will be uploaded there.
1.1 will include hopefully the first stage finished as well as a trap or two. biggrin.gif
