Was just looking through my music play list and found some really old songs (well to me during my lifetime hehe). So I got the idea of starting a thread where we post those "back in the day" songs that we remember from when we were kids, or if you're older the songs you remember from along the years. Feel free to post them with a youtube/music link so we can hear it biggrin.gif

I've got a few here:

93 til infinity by souls of mischief(old really relaxing rap): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mt3vZHDiM8

Get down tonight by KC and the sunshine band (I'm not that old but still like it hehe): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReB8c3V4-wI

In too deep by Sum 41 (I had too... tongue.gif): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emGri7i8Y2Y

Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQnAxOQxQIU

Youth of the Nation by POD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEVPoo0kOa4

My Way by Limp Bizkit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn8vzTsnPps

In the End by Linkin Park: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVTXPUF4Oz4

That's all I got... for now tongue.gif
Let's see what you guys have.

God... back in my day.
Good thread.

I was a kid in the Spice Girls generation, but I'm not posting anything of theirs.

Bittersweet Symphony is the best song from the 90's -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zx3m4e45bTo

Madonna's Die Another Day did it for me when I was 14 -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mp66uTya7M0

Of course, there's nothing better than Greenday to get you through High School -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1JXYgwwDeY&feature=fvst

And yes, this one too:

Damn, "Youth of the Nation"
I forgot about that for all these years until I heard it now.

There was another song that I heard back when I was in AUS... it had something like "Turn the lights out, carry me home!..."
Anyone know that song?

Some other ones for me...

I'd Do Anything by Simple Plan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HT5V9tPoIk0

I'm Just A Kid by Simple Plan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVnzUSwgj8M

The Anthem by Good Charlotte: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=desJKYvdq9A

Girls & Boys by Good Charlotte: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FTS2tdmyYM

Motivation by Sum 41: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-iBGSLkfCU

Minority by Green Day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-vjIs4SQcI

Basically any old Sum 41/Simple Plan/Good Charlotte/Green Day from the early 2000's reminds me of being a kid.

/facepalm

R Kelly.

Ok Nickelback - How You Remind Me. Good song, before everyone started assraping their songs 10 years after they were released like every other band these days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cQh1ccqu8M&fmt=18

My early listenings consisted of a load of Bob Seger, Elton John, Meat Loaf, REM and others. So I'll leave you all to your punk and grunge crap tongue.gif

It probably seems really faggish, but this brings back some major memories for me. I swear I could smell Queensland's shores.
