Plain and simple, I was pretty pissed and did/said some things I regret and unfortunately I can't undo that, however I can offer this apology and hope that those present can forgive my actions. I've requested a last chance from Gene to prove that how I acted today is not a regular occurence, instead a rare side of me, and again, I'd like a chance to prove that isn't ordinary. I also understand that some of you have never spoken to me before this outburst today and will probably have unchangeable opinions due to it, however those of you that do already know me can surely see that this is genuine. The reasons we kicked him are as follows: - RS GP Buying - He claimed to have read the rules and didn't. Rachel spoke to him and as far as I know, this hasn't been an issue since. - Skipping the Chaos Ele event - While frowned upon, this is fine, as you'll all remember WG is about playing how you want to, when you want to. Raids and wars are a different story. - Skipping the war - Apparently he was at work, which I could believe. Those reasons were not enough to warrant a kick, HOWEVER, the fact that Smiley raged afterwards demonstrated what the leaders believe to be an "explosive personality" which could in the future cause drama. Now, Smiley is ADAMANT that such an occurrence is exremely rare and not part of his personality. The leaders disagree. The obvious solution is a last chance. IF the leaders are right, then Smiley will demonstrate similar anger in the near future and be removed from WG permanently. IF Smiley is right, then what just happened is not reflective of his character, and he will blend in with WG. However I will not allow him back in WG if the clan will not reconcile. Yeah, he raged afterwards, but don't we all? When you've just been kicked from your clan for reasons you think are unfair, not to mention the heat he's been in already, I can imagine it being hard to control yourself. I was neutral on the matter when the topic concerning his kicking was posted, because I didn't know him. When he called Veph a shrimp dick in IRC and was kicked twice and then KBed, I was lol'ing IRL for like 5 minutes but didn't have any great expectations of him. But then, after just listening to his argument on TS, my views reversed completley. He's like me, in a way. If I KNOW I'm right about something which is being done wrong, I'll argue it to fuck, put forward the best defence and offence I can, and stand my ground for hours and won't back down till I'm proven wrong or action is taken. And to do that without having to resort to anger like flaming or trolling is a skill. He has it. And he's shown he knows right from wrong, and when he makes a mistake he does his best to try and fix it.  IRC Nickname: Sgtswordfish Group: Guest Posts: 1737 Member No.: 1758 Joined: March 9, 2009 Total Events Attended: 64 | his personally is great. i'm just interested in his conviction. first of all he joined wg because we asked him to. not because he truly wanted to. so if he accepts a chance make sure to know if he truly wants to for better or worse (e-marriage for the win) the next thing is devotion. is he devoted to himself enough to consciously be there without being asked upon. rachel asked him once to come to an event and he couldn't, i asked him once and again he couldn't. devotion has to be built upon from the mentor to mentee so if he isn't devoted to wg it's because the mentor didn't clearly specify the rules. as for the rules things. the fact that struck me is that people go to the bottom of the page just to get in shows lack of attention. a mentor can step in and review the rules and ask key questions like. if you where in pvp world and u see someone fishing in full void, what would you do? i truly believe in him as a friend and his honesty and perseverance is truly a quality i admire but it's his devotion and conviction that will truly place him as a guardian. --------------------  Goals 2011  | ||

Other than the fact some people might misunderstand his jokes for being serious because of his sarcastic sense of humor, I haven't seen him be out of line at all. just "e-whore"? mmmm i hope not  ooooooh baby roflIn the case of Sm1l3y, the first time I heard/spoke with him, I thought he was completely childish (with the whole "MissingRodney" ordeal, w/e that was). And then again with the heated arguement with Vephy/Bryan, which was quite short and hardly an arguement at all. But I've spoken with him since those discrepancies, and I actually think he's a great guy and can pull through this with a second chance from the leaders, and hopefully they can see that it was just a bad moment and not an on-going personality flaw. -------------------- | ||
