If you don't know me, my name is Chris and I am known in-game as Masamune39. I've been in plenty of clans, and known plenty of leaders. However, no clan and its leader has ever stood out to me more than the Wilderness Guardians and His_Lordship (Gene). Let me tell you all a story.... When I was 13 years old, I was playing RuneScape. I had no knowledge of clans, and I didn't even know what a clan was. Sure, I went into the wild and tried my hardest not to fall. However, despire all my best efforts, all my weaknesses were laid bare to any and every pk'er that was out and about. Let's fast-forward to May of 2005... I was out of school, with not alot to do. Well, I was searching for guides on how to effectively pk, and I guess the keywords fpr "wilderness" had led me to find the famous flash video on Newgrounds. From that, I was hooked on to the legacy that is the Wilderness Guardians. After I had watched, I fell immediately in-love with the "ARPK" style of RuneScape pk'ing. After the video, I had found another video, a war video. It was the Wilderness Guardians v.s. The Unbreakables; a video that I have long been searching for, but have not found again. From there, I had trained my absolute hardest to get all the requirements neccessary to join. However, due to high school and other events in my life, I was unable to commit to a hardcore training regiment. It wasn't until I was 14 years old and level 65 or something, when I had heard about the Descendant Guardians, the junior clan. In DG, I had a blast, being so close to the main clan. Every day was a true blessing. One of my memories was of DG and WG on a f2p raid, we had ran into Anarchy right around the demonic ruins. Of course, I had died, but it didn't matter to me. Another memory was WG+DG+RR+CL teaming up to face Dark Slayers in a run-in and a full-out f2p war, it was pure lagging chaos. Well, needless to say it was tough running a junior clan and a main clan, so DG was closed. I had spent the next year and a half in and out of clans that my friends made. I was still trying my hardest to meet the requirements for WG. My second chance to be close to the main clan was when DG opened up its doors again. This time, I was around level 80 or 85. That was quite another experience because of WG's newlyfound dominance in the p2p wilderness, and a ton of p2p raids under Kenshln. It was awesome, not only because of the new experience in p2p wilderness, but because of our developing rivalries against RoT and 3v0. Well, DG closed again, and I was back to training for the main clan. I took a 6 month hiatus from RuneScape, came back, joined a few clans (TDM in particular), and took a 2 year hiatus after leaving RuneScape for what I thought would be for good. Let's fast-forward to 2010.... I came back to RuneScape at level 98, with 2 more combat levels to go. And after 2 months of training, I finally got enough training to get into the clan. So, that's about 3 years of training (not counting the abscenses and hiatuses). Wow, that's alot of writing. You all must be bored  .
