She was a huge chicken about it. Another side note that two tornadoes landed the same day as well (both earthquakes and tornadoes are very rare in this region of the world). My cubicle walls were wobbling pretty good and all the crap in my drawers and was rattling around. It took me a good 5 seconds to figure out what the hell was going on. I thought maybe the ventilation system was kicking into overdrive since I'm right beside the server room and there's some pretty massive air movers just for that room and it was amazingly humid that day. Or sometimes a really big truck drives by and the building resonates to some effect as well. It was intense but it was a slow news day and people wanted a distraction from the G8/G20 crap so the entire thing was blown out of proportion. I can't believe Toronto was the focus though...like FFS it's 600km away from where the quake was@#!@$!)( Ottawa is only 60km and not even Val de Bois or Buckingham which were at the centre of the quake, got less attention than Toronto. --------------------   | ||||
