Friday, August 27th 10:00am at Trafalgar Square under Nelson's Column, World 1. If you're going I'll need your phone number and IRL name in PM. We spend the whole day around London doing tourist-stuff, and go back to JaGeX for a visit, and ask for the wildy back, and stuffs. In the evening we'll have some tea, and at night we get wasted in a good English pub. The next day is Runefest, I encourage as many WG members to attend as possible. Right now it's only myself, Maths, and Keanu, with ex-member Stokenut. Would be awesome if we got more. Anyway that's the poll question. WG T-Shirts to Runefest... not IRL meeting. Yes or no? You don't have to stay if you don't want to pay for Runefest, but you can meet us afterward for drinks. This IRL meeting is 3 days and two nights, so it makes sense for you to attend Runefest and enjoy our company as long as possible. If not, go hang around London and wait for us. Last day will be another quiet day soaking up some London sights. Most of it will be free, but since Maths and I are tourists, we WILL be doing the touristy stuff. It would be nice to have you for three days, but if you can only make one day, make it the Friday. Do not invite non-WG without clearing it by me first. There are a couple of ex-WG that I do not want to see at the IRL meeting. Sign-Ups For Friday's attendance, though state how many days you'll be there. Also give a percentage of your likelihood to make it. 1. His_Lordship (100%) / Going to Runefest 2. Maths/Elyxiatic (100%) / Going to Runefest 3. WG Keanu (90%) / (Maybe attending Runefest. Confirm this week) 4. Stokenut (100%) / (Maybe attending Runefest. Confirm this week) 5. Leecable (100%) / (Maybe attending Runefest. Confirm this week) 6. Deanocable (1005) / (Maybe attending Runefest. Confirm this week) We're aiming for 10 people. Attendees get a reduced price clan shirt for £5 if they don't already have one. But don't wear them on the Friday. I can't since I'm wearing mine at Runefest. And lets NOT be seen in public with the same clothes. --------------------  | ||||

Friday is a yes, although I still need to buy my RuneFest ticket, which I will be doing this week. As you know, I can't make Sunday because my band has a gig, and I need to be on a train back to the Northwest by 1:00 midday at the latest. I have tried to hell to reschedule, and it hasn't worked. I'll try one more time while we're there, but no guarantees. I shall pm you with my details. If you haven't done it before, I do recommend you try out the London Eye on Sunday. I did a couple days ago - it is fairly expensive but the view you get is absolutely amazing. Ok, but you'll regret it. Festivals come every year. This IRL meeting might come once every 5 years. Historically, I doubt many of this generation will still be in WG. -------------------- | ||||

I won't regret £350 for something that should only cost £30 for UK members (ie. trip to London). But I regret the choice in date, a lot I'm still looking into the friday, but like... I could only come till 4 or something. I have to look at trains - because normally (so I've heard), because of the thousands and thousands who train to Reading, they cancel other services. Although - that sounds harsh to those daily users to me. We'll see -------------------- | ||||
