Might seem a bit random for an emeritus to make a post like this, but its worth the focus it deserves.

I've just made an account on tip.it forums (on a different name, because Tnuac was already taken, from when i made an account in 2005 =s). When i get chance, im gonna go on there, find people, and let them know what WG is all about.

What all the other clans seem to be missing out is a personal touch. Its friendliness and trust that builds the relationships needed to get new people along.

We need to start finding all the different places people look for a clan, and make ourselves known. When we do that, we need to take account of what they say, and show we can relate to it. Use their own words, and show them why WG is good for them. WG isn't like any other clan. It has a renound balance. F2p/p2p, skilling/warring, european/american/australian etc etc. Its the width of this clan that has helped us survive to this day (as well as an outstanding leader who is as with us just as closely as when WG got off the ground, and was riding the waves of success in previous years).

Right now, we have a small memberbase. Although its few in number, i can tell that its tight. We have with us a great bunch of people, old and new. What we need now is to build on this core, take our recent success, and relive old times. To do that, we need to bring more lions into the pride.

So, as vephy said, this is the time to spread the word of WG. Every minute spent recruiting is golden, do it with passion. Find the people 'on the dole', and really show them a personal touch, and present to them what we have to offer. I may not step out of emeritus, for real life reasons i won't go into, but whenever i can i'm going to go on the forums and tell people how great WG was, and is, and is to be. We all need a sense of pride, and excitement to build.

So lets do it hash.png

Agree with Vephy and you. I'm starting to recruit in the game again. I keep meeting people in divine skillers or something like that.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”
